Nah mate, despite your constant references to some of the nuffies who have made and won GFs in the halves, letting go of Moses who is arguably in the top 3 halves in the comp isn't a good idea. Obviously we dont want to break the bank totally, but he is definitely someone we should be trying to keep at all stops.
You’re right we don’t want to break the bank but some other club might.
With Gutho gone, an injury to Lomax and Sean Russell is our goalkicker FFS.
How about another injury to Moses?

As well as Lomax? Then we have to use Russell as goal kicker (or someone else).
If Moses gets injured and we need a new half, then we have Volkman, Hawkins and Lynn to choose from right?

I don’t think he will even play much first grade once both Simmonsen and JAC return in the early rounds.

Agree but if someone does step up from NSW cup you'd imagine Simonsson is the first one out.
Also some players come back from ACLs fine just like Sivo. While others take a while to get back to best. Some never do. Considering Simmonsons best isn't that high it just wouldn't suprise me if he is overtaken by a younger kid.
I also don't rate Russel but I don't feel like Simmo is miles ahead. If Russel improved 20% over off-season he probably is the same level as Simmo at his best.

I think "rep-player Russell" is in the round one first 17 chosen. And then it's his backline spot to lose as others like Addo-Carr and Simonssen come back from injury etc.

You need a halfback with a good long kicking game.

Hopefully Moses runs the ball more in 2025 that's where is greatest asset is.

Pou is right about Moses and his track record with injuries.

He certainly starting to tip into the injury prone type category if he gets another injury that rules him out for an extended period.

Has had a few concussions as well.

He is a tough bugger but you would kill to have Moses on the park every week like DCE who never gets injured.
