Is origin the only reason Dyl misses games? Even if Dylan is fit all season long he probably wont play every minute of every game we play.

If hes to small for the wing hes just to small and we shouldnt be considering him for one of the highest paid position in the game if he cant survive in the lowest paid position in the backline.

We've reached a point with the current team where our best players from the dynasty are mostly pushing 30, they arent all under 27 anymore. I think the clubs signings this past few months reflect them having an eye on the future. Guys like Edgar, Billy Scott who are potentially the long term options in the spine need to be getting a taste. We need to be developing the next players to take over now and we need to start seeing how they go at the NRL level to see if they are going to be the options, we cant start developing them once Dyl or Kenny is gone. Obviously they will need to show some form in cup and wait for opportunities but there is no way imo we are parking Edger and Scott in cup for the whole year.

I'd love him to play but everything ive ever seen screams fullback only.
Getting smashed and held in a corner on the wing wouldn't do anything to help his game.

I actually think that would be good experience for a full back tbh, If he cant handle that how is he going to play full back? Full backs get isolated an smashed more than wingers do. He is 100 percent going to have to take those runs as a fullback.

I dont even want Edgar on the wing tbh and i think he will get picked on the bench at times and be the back up to dyl so hes going to play FB at some point this season, but the idea that we could have a full back that is unpickable on the wing bothers me a lot.

I don’t disagree they need game time but it’s a fine line. You don’t want to mess with their confidence if they struggle and you don’t want to put them in the shop window if they kill it….. all part of the game
