Notable winners so far for me

Bears - They are going to be able to protect Caleb now. They are in a tough division but we will definitely see what they have at QB
Vikings - Made a tonne of positive moves. The Rodgers stuff is fascinating, I don't blame him for wanting to go there

Some losers

Houston - If anyone wants to explain to me the logic of weaking their OL which was their number 1 weakness last season I'm all ears. Colts are favourites for that division now IMO
Cleveland - The gift that keeps on giving. Why they signed Garrett (and why he agreed) is a mystery to me. They could have got two first rounders for him and immediately replaced him with Carter at 2 in this upcoming draft.

Yeah Cleveland is interesting… I guess they see themselves still good enough to compete hence why they re-upped Garrett. I’m thinking they draft a QB at #2 but from some of the rumours making the rounds Sheduer and his dad might pull an Eli and Archie and refuse to go to the Browns… assuming Ward is taken at #1.

I’m hoping that Sheduer falls to #6 but I get the feeling the Geno trade will take us away from a QB at #6.

the Seahawks are interesting to me… the pretty much swapped Geno for Darnold. I’m not sure Darnold will thrive playing behind that Seahawks O-Line.

The franchises have brought 8 proposed rule changes fr 2025 which will be voted on at the league meeting end of the month. They require 24/32 clubs to vote yes to get through. Outline below with the team in barackets who have brought the rule change to the vote

Tush Push Ban (GB)

Amending defensive hold/illegal contact (DET) - Proposal is that it is not automatic first down so if it is 2nd and 7 and the penally is 5 yards it becomes 2nd and 2

Regular season OT rules to match postseason (PHI) - Guaranteed possession for each team

Post season seedings based on record (DET) - No guaranteed home playoff game for division winners

Players on IR to not count towards roster limit (DET)

Allowing contact with FAs during tampering window (PIT)

Ability to prepare kick off balls the day before a gem (multiple)

Potential to scout playoff opponents (WAS) - Teams qualified for the playoffs can send scouts to potential playoff opponents games in the last 2 weeks of regular season

Just lol @ GB and anyone who votes to ban the tush push, bunch of sooks. I don't mind the defensive holding idea, no need to be an automatic 1st down.

The OT rule makes complete sense to me, you have to play the whole game, not half of it.

The postseason seeding one shouldn't happen. Part of the appeal of the NFL is the meaning it's divisions has and the races within it. Unlike NBA, NFL and to a lesser extent MLB, winning the division means something to the point teams draft players to beat division opponents. Change the seeding an that aspect goes... If you want a home game, win the division.

I don't care about the rest, they seem like little things that are neither here nor there.
