I don't think I'm the only one who saw this game against the Dragons as somewhat season defining.

Are you prepared to write off our season now? We've won 1 of our last 6, teams don't go on those sort of streaks and then make noise in the finals - if they make it.

I'm pretty annoyed right now, but I'm going to say next week will be season defining. If we beat Melbourne it might bring some confidence and a good run for us.

But how do you get excited about that after this performance?

I'm going to say yes. It started well but we've been destroyed with injuries and constantly being out of favor with the refs. We haven't responded well to them at all.

I said last week I would begin to if we lost, but then we signed Gower. Say what you will, but we've looked for experience in our forward pack which has improved drastically this year with Smith. Perhaps Gower will do the same.

I'm hopeful we'll make the 8. We still have some influential and key players to return.

The most unrealistic thing about your opening post is "if we beat melbourne" - they would have to head straight down there now and kick off - even then id back the storm to over run us in 80mins !! Wehave absolutely NOTHING in attack - besides Mullo & Jimmy Mc in the whole backiline they couldnt score in a brothel with a labor party credit card - so YES the season has ended !!!! And thats a good thing cause we dont need to be cannon fodder for real teams with real aspirations and real ability to win the premiership.

I never thought our season would amount to much and tonight pretty much confirmed it.

We play the most boring style of football I've ever seen but unlike the 2009-11 Dragons (same style) we don't have the discipline or defense to succeed with it.

If the opposition turns up to play we pretty much get beaten every time.

Yes, we couldnt beat the warriors who were last, and we couldnt beat the dragons who are 12th. The only games we have won this year were when the opposition was just terrible. Every team who has stood up to us we have lost against. We will finish 13th-14th

I'm calling no - but Bennett may just be foxing. Y'kno - flying under the radar; playing ducks and drakes; wool over everyones eyes. He's good like that is ol' bennett. I'd even go so far as to say crafty.

By rd 24 I reckon he'll have the the side humming along nicely. Not too noisy mind - don't wanna come out from that radar. Just a nice pleasing hum - a 'good vibration' if you will.
