Season Spend

One thing I have thinking about is how much money is a single adult prepared to spend on RL for a whole season. Excluding food and drink.

Non corporate

From
- Game day tickets club and rep games
- Merchandise jerseys flags beanies
- publications
- pay tv etc
- travel
- events e.g. club award night's or dinners etc

I know that I spend something like $2000 per season
- $700 season pass and away games
- $300 2 jerseys
- $200 publications
- $500 pay-tv
- $300 one regional away game travel costs

But as each year passes I will need to cut back on spending as cost of living keep going up 10% and wages stay steady or decline

What about other people ?

NRL seem to have this perception we are money pits

About $330 for my season seats
Maybe $200 on beer and food at the game for entire season.
That’s it
I got free Foxtel
I don’t buy jerseys or gear anymore.
Definitely do not but the telegraph or any other publication.

I watched the GF live on Foxtel.

I spend about 1k as I still get a lot of free stuff from playing and tickets etc.
I'd day most of my footy related outgoings are laughing at the Faiders

I haven’t spent much the last 2 years, having the worst jersey in the comp is a bonus for my wallet. In years past i would buy whatever jersey NQ would put out but not anymore........ 2015 I reckon my spending on NRL related shit was gusting towards $10k.......... the joys of winning a comp.

I spend about $360 for my season ticket each year, and $150 on my watchNRL pass to watch all the league from the US.

I suppose it’s odd that I pay for a season ticket that I generally never use since I don’t live in Oz, but fact is season ticket holders get first rights to seats at the new stadium and I’ll be home by then. So it’s worth it.

For me and my missus:

$500 membership costs
$800 flights
$150/200 on away game tickets
$200/300 on food and drink
$300 on Kayo
$100 merch

so for two people between $2000-$2500 a year

it’s a fair whack, but I love it.

Membership is around $450 and went to games at Bankwest, the SCG and AAMI Park. With accommodation and travel probably more than 3k.

What a f**king waste.

$400 on Origin
$200 on other games attended this year
$100 membership
$150 on merch
$1000 on Foxtel
Plus around $500 on my SL club

I’d have spent another $3k on attending nines and tests if they hadn’t stuffed it up.

Still much cheaper than what I’ve spent on motorsport this year which would be around $10k!

I went for a general admission membership this year, which was about 150. I stopped buying jerseys about 5 years ago because I have 1 favourite that I wear (centenary jersey). I went to WIN stadium to watch my team pump Gitano - the 12 man facial at the climax was delightful. I'm with Telstra so watch most games on the mobile.

I got 5 season tickets for ANZ.
I bought 4 new jerseys this year...bought a couple last year but they were the first ones I bought in a while.
Went 3-4 games at Henson to watch the Jets.
I bought a Glebe Dirty Reds jersey too and some Newtown tees for the kids.
Finals and GF tickets.
A trip to the Gong for the Test.
Pay for Fox.
Probably blew about $1500 on footy cards and some RL books too. Another $400 on NRL replay DVDs.

All that on that dole, with no teef and drinking meths. I
