Once again though, it seems the myth that is Hindmarsh is attracting most of the votes. When will people open their eyes and realise that he is past it! Makes a ton of ineffective tackles (aka flops), hits it up but never bends the line... there are plenty of second rowers like that around!

Hindmarsh should not even be in the top 10 based on this year.

Anthony Watmough .

If being good involved dropping atleast one ball a game in good field position, he'd win for sure

He and Trent Waterhouse would get along famously :) LOL.

Although only 1 dropball might leave Trent a bit bored.

You can't compare TLL and Hindmarsh. They are completely different players.

Tough one

Menzies, Ryan, Simpson, Thompson, TLL & Thaiday have all had great years

But the three standouts are Mason, Hindmarsh and Hoffman

For mine its........................agggh im not sure yet

Beaver has had another excellent year, and he'd fall behind Mason only in my opinion.

Mason first, Menzies/Simpson/Hindmarsh filling up the spots behind in any order really.

Needless to say, I voted for Menzies because I think he deserved more recognition than the zero votes he had when my vote was placed.

Menzies has had a sensational year. Ryan as well. Hindy seems overrated to me, this year at least. Parra's backs have got them back into the swing of things IMO.

Steve Menzies because I'm biased and think he's had a great year. Played in all SOOs and played well. Considering how old he is (lol at Methusula), to be playing as well as he is a great achievement.

If I'm going to pick the player I get most excited over when he plays, I'd go for Sam Thaiday. I think he has massive potential and could be a great player.

Some fairly dodgy names on that list.

Cooper for one. He wouldn't get my vote, but Awen Guttenbeil deseves to at least be on the list. Outstanding year from him. A few games where he's gone close to 50 tackles, 20-25 hit ups, a few offloads, and 150-200m.

I ended up voting Thompson. Back end of the season wasn't great but he was on fire at the beginning of the season.

I don't think Hindmarsh has been as good this year. But his name will get him the votes irrespective of self performance.
