If we keep loosing and we had a new high profile coach for 2017 (assuming any coach with a profile wants to come here) the problem lies firmly with the players if you ask me, everything else has been blamed so it doesn't leave anything else.
If we did have a hard nosed NRL coach you would expect sackings and players dropped never to be seen again and a few handy mid year buys.
I'm starting to think Mark Graham was on to something when he said he wasn't after the best player in a position but a player with a desire to win at all costs.

His job was unteneble in about round 10 or so. Remember? We were saying it here but he got kept on for want of a serious replacement. As it happened he earnt a reprieve anyway, we started playing well. We even had a thread called 'Credit where credit is due'.

Nah sacking him mid season would've acheived nothing, and just made the club a less attractive proposition for other coaches. The only time you do that is when a coach clearly loses the playing group (ie Bluey). I expect he'll get the boot within a week of the Parra game though. Even if it's just Morgan promoted to head coach, though I'd hope for a bigger name.

McFail isn't very good tactically, agree, but even that doesn't excuse the limp performances we throw up 80% of the time with half the players clearly not trying. Some of the accountability has to start falling on players, as much as McDud has to go we surely have to start putting guys like Matulino on notice.

Culture is f**ked top to bottom, but in theory they have a squad to challenge so won't make wholesale changes

Need a serious coach with a track record, then if we get same shit perhaps the wholesale changes can happen
