spot on mayor matai is back & that is the team for tonights game.dont agree with dessies team as i believe that ballin is the best hooker in the club & an 80 minute player, lyon is one of the best centres in the world & monaghan on of the best halves in the nrl. there was no need to rush matai back but it seems des wants lyon at 5/8 & monas at hooker. des was also on 2ky this morning & said that due to salary cap restrictions monas wont be at the club beyond 2008.

The only thing that i find hard to believe is that he wouldn't be playing either grade. If he is not injured then he would play PL if not selected for 1st grade as it is at Brookie.

New Zealand Test centre Steve Matai is a late inclusion in the Manly side to play Parramatta at Brookvale Oval tonight.

Matai passed a fitness test this afternoon after being sidelined with an ankle injury sustained in the Sea Eagles' opening round match against Canberra.

Hooker Matt Ballin makes way for Matai's inclusion in the Sea Eagles' 17.
