Oh boy this place has gone quiet. Not only are Panthers having a great season but the players they have let go (Bryce Cartwright and Matt Moylan) are going pretty ordinary. The only downside I can see for the Panthers though is that James Maloney at 31 probably has a couple good years left in him. While he is playing fantastic football it could be the case for the Panthers of short-term gain but maybe long-term pain.

The Anthony Griffin bashers probably won't be satisfied though, if the Panthers are losing Griffin should be punted and if their winning Griffin is only a figurehead and its Gus Gould who really coaches them.

As much as I think Griffin is a shit coach, he is good at blooding rookies.

He has the players at his disposal and they're playing some very committed defence.

Brennan voluntarily signed Cartwright to a long term deal. He may be a good guy but smart?
