Inter continued its winning ways by beating Bolonga 2-0 and is now 1 point behind Juve who won 4-0 against Parma. Roma were lucky 1-0 winners against Modena.

If Juve lose, Inter go to 3rd and Milan draw or lose Inter go to second :D.

However Milan have a game in hand though because they had to go and play in Tokoyo against Boca Juniors.

Cruz is really coming of age at the moment with I

an interview with moratti from the official inter site, so you know it's not crap

Dejan Stankovic has declared he has chosen Inter...
"He has shown he has good taste... This is a good quality to start off with. However, it's still too early for the negotiations. We still haven't spoken about these matters. It's nice to know he's willing, but we also need to see if I am."

fuckin' a!

Empoli 0 - 2 Roma (Totti 23', 45')

Parma 1 - 2 Reggina

------------------------------

Roma move 6 points clear at the top of the table after a Francesco Totti double see them head into the Christmas break without having lost a game in any competition so far this season

------------------------------

Mark it in your calenders:

January 6th 2004 (20:30 Italian Time)

AS Roma (1st) vs AC Milan (2nd)
Stadio Olimpico

What a game this will be!!

Did you get an email account from your ip providers? That's what I used (once I tried a hundred combinations before finally figuring out the password  ).

Disappionting to lose to Lazio. But good news in Milan lost.

Just wondering, when do you do you expect Dejan Stankavic to join Inter?

Stankovic apparently is joining over the January transfer window.

Inter can buy all the players they like, but no offence, there is something internally wrong at that club. I dont know if it is the coach, Moratti, the fans or something else. But what i do know is that they wont win the title AGAIN this season. Something drastic has to be done. I have no idea what...

On another note: Roma are full sail ahead!

:D

oh geez, roma will CRASH and BURN soon enough

and then i'll pounce on them as you have inter

inter played well today, as they have in the serie a since zac has been in charge. we didn't give lazio 3 points, they had to earn them

Remember Hybrid, the season isnt even over. remember Aston Villa on top of the EPL at x-mas a couple of season ago and now look at them. Rember Roma was lucky against Ancona.

Correct me if I am wrong, but i believe roma is a truckload of debt (I believe is in 400m in debt) and if Roma isnt careful, they could end up like Leeds.

If Mark Viduka is on his way to to Inter, he will probably be leaving Inter (Vieri)

Yes of course. I realise that the season isnt over. But our form this year has been nothing short of spectacular.

Last season we couldnt do a thing right. Whether it was referees, poor form or just not enough depth i'll never know. But such a drastic turnaround in a short space of time has even taken me by surprise.

An astute signing in Cristian Chivu, the purchase of Mancini from Venezia (turning him from a bench player in Serie B to a starter at one of the best clubs in the Serie A over the off season), the loaning of Carew and the improvement in players such as Pelizzoli, Zebina and Cassano has been a revelation. In all seriousness, at the start of this season i expected us to probably finish fourth. But now, i'm pretty confident that we can win the Scudetto and possibly even the UEFA Cup (depending how serious we take it).

And yes we were poor against Ancona. But we still won didnt we? A sign of a good team is that they can play poorly and still win. You cant play breathtaking every week... :p

And seriously - you cannot compare Roma to Aston Villa. Villa dont have one of the best players in the world in Totti. And they certainly werent consistently one of the top teams in the Premier League. Roma are a top team, and have pretty much been up there most of the time, bar one or two poor seasons, even winning the title in 2000/01.

And yes we are in debt. But it isnt 400 Million. I believe it is around 160 Million. And the club is being sold after this season, with the buyer clearing all debts. So I am not at all worried about this.

I think there is every chance Inter and Roma will meet in the final of the UEFA Cup. Apprantly Inter are interested in Juan Pablo ANgel, who of course plays for Villa.

Paul Ince has stated he would like to coach Inter one day, a good move if that happens?

I think Inter's form has been great in the Serie A since Zac took over, i mean won 6, lost 1, drew 1, a lot of teams would be happy to have that.

Another thing, if Adriano is to be signed by Inter (he's on loan at Parma), Inter would have to pay Parma $23.75m

Serie A results:

Ancona 0 - 2 Parma
Bologna 2 - 1 Empoli
Brescia 4 - 2 Siena
Inter Milan 3 - Lecce 1
Cruz (49) Bovo (3)
Cordoba (59)
Vieri (84)

Juventus 1 - Perugia 0
Modena 0 - Chievo Verona 3
Reggina 2 - Lazio 1
Udinese 0 - Sampodria 1
Roma 1 - AC Milan 2
Cassano (45) Shevchenko (24., 62)

Table:
Roma 36 points
Juventus 33 points
Milan 33 points
Inter 31 points

Milan have one game in hand and if Inter beat Lazio, they would be in second :x
