Setting the record straight.

Saw the game, and saw a partial replay. IMO the Sharklings played very well against the Dogs last week. Without a handful of errors and lapses we woulda won. I've been thinking on that and just had to say it.
Most blatant being Rieck's woeful pass which indirectly led to 12 points for the Dogs. Groan!

That's the thing though Pops, "shoulda" and "woulda" ain't good enough. I do take your point though, they played well in terrible conditions.

i hear what you're saying popper and in one sense you're dead right, but on the other hand it's really just the same ol' story.

errors and lapses :roll: eradicate missed tackles, dropped ball and giving away stupid penalties and i guarantee we'd win the comp

not a bad effort all the same without kimmorley, peachey and bird.

last year we would have been flat out stretching the dogs with those blokes missing.

and i think people are forgetting our performance against them earlier in the year

the only thing i can complain about is the defence

i would have been "happy" with 30 missed tackles before the game because the bulldogs forwards are always going to break through some tackles

The sharkies made Andrew Ryan look like an absolute world beater, the tigers bought him back to earth last night. I reckon we can beat the dogs if we get another crack at them.
