Early days for the Dragons HM side but the Roosters side is stacked full of imports.

Hopefully improve for the next trial games.

Saw today that NSWRLTV has merged into Bar TV Sports.. I believe every lower grade game will be covered, including Harold Matts, SG Ball, Jersey Flegg.. NSW Cup.. FMD boys.. I am in real trouble here.

Saw today that NSWRLTV has merged into Bar TV Sports.. I believe every lower grade game will be covered, including Harold Matts, SG Ball, Jersey Flegg.. NSW Cup.. FMD boys.. I am in real trouble here.

20 bucks a month is the only issue, but maybe it’s worth it if I don’t have it the whole time. Must admit it was frustrating last year just getting a small proportion of the reserve games.

Yah it is.. but also feels like it's money going to a good place (and well earnt).. just hope they get enough subs to keep doing it in the future...

Probably I will sign up when the HM/SG season starts.. thats like only 9 weeks + finals, so maybe 3-4 months, then will have to make a call I guess on whether to keep it for the rest of the JF/Cup season.

Looking at the email they sent it says 3 times as many games as last year but hopefully they do all the KOE Cup ones at least and a reasonable proportion of Flegg. I guess we have to wait to find out.

omg I'm glad you posted.. I didnt realise it started so much earlier than the main season.. I better clear the weekend!

I wonder if Halangahu (plus CST and some others) will play SG or be saved for higher grades... would be a long season for these guys.

Read somewhere on another supporter site that only 3 players from the winning St George SG Ball squad from last year will be a part of the 2025 squad.

Its crazy.. im not even sure if Halangahu or CST will play either.. there is some young talent coming through, but the side will be young and probably not quite ready...

Steelers however are in the 2nd year of their cycle.. lots of 'veterans', they should give the comp a real tilt.. lets hope.. especially Reed.. hes the one we need to really show his talent this year.

We will not have to wait long for the first official team lists to be announced tomorrow afternoon for the SG Ball and Matthew's round 1 teams.

o 10.30am Dragons HM
o 12.00pm Dragons SG
o 2.30pm Steelers HM
o 4.00pm Steelers SG

Women's games on top if you follow those, I literally dont have enough brain cells to keep up with the womens footy too, I'm not even 100% sure im going to be watching Harold Matts each week.. I'll give it a try.. but its 34 more names.. and another 3hrs of footy to get through on a weekend... but perhaps its really only an issue once once the other 3 grades kick off..

cheers mate, glad CST will play.. didnt really feel like we got to see his potential last year, was a year young, and ended up at ctr for the Flegg season (good experience mind you).. this should be his year to really dominate in Under 19's...

And I'm happy Halangahu/Latu are being saved for higher grades.. as fun as it would be to see them beat up on the U19 division, these are big years for them to test themselves against bigger & stronger competition.

You can watch a replay during the week, so don't need to squeeze all the games in live during the weekend.

Latu will be straight into NSW cup as well, no Flegg for him I wouldn't think given the rule that he can seek an immediate release if he's picked below cup level as a top 30 player.
