Latu is definitely Cup, as hes Top 30 now.. the only question is whether him or Stewart are first choice lock, maybe they will both do time there... Latu has no future contract mind you so hes a delicate balance... Stewart might also end up in the 2nd row while hes growing.. but Nick and Egan are first choice.

Lawrie I think will do a good job leading the cup forwards, Rava I would personally like to see left out of the cup team.. if they can actually do that to a Top 30 player.... too many other Top30 wing prospects that need game time (lawson included even though hes not Top30)... and they might leave a few blokes like Kirk and William in Jersey Flegg for now.. bring them up at a later date as injuries mount... they just dont all fit if everyone is healthy.

What's the likely Cup backline?

1. Feagai/Rumble/Sloan?
2. Lawson/Rava/Finau?
3. Buchanan/Feagai
4. Allan/Feagai?
5. Lawson/Sloan/Finau?

Early in the season Allan, Lawson, Sloan all need NSW cup time in new position or returning from long term injury. Imo that leaves Feagai, Rava & Finau to battle out for the 1st grade right wing spot. We need Allan & Feagai to cover centre depth more than wing, since we've got a few wingers. We should prioritise getting experience into Lawson & Sloan as wingers at NSW cup imo.

It'll be tricky to manage if most players are healthy...

Yep I agree, some of them have to play nsw cup centre (those are 2 id choose also).. practice it each week.. and get form there.. we really have no genuine centre depth.. without doing silly things like move Gutherson which we wont be doing for a while. Believe Ben Johnson is gone, not sure on Buchanans fitness, but he was borderline nsw cup level last year also.. he might play SG and/or JF... and with Max gone.. there is a real talent hole there.. its why I didnt mind Douieh as an option.. or even Atkinson could potentially play centre if we'd gotten him early... we are definitely short a centre/five-eight utility.. but its not as high a priority as our forwards.

I would be happy to see Lawson getting some time at center if the depth is so poor. But a few guys are going to have to get their balloons popped and watch from the sidelines. Could lead to exits, I suppose.
