I've lost interest since Courtney, Chanel and Daniel left the show.

Casey should have gone after elenor Rigby, she murdered that bloody song, forgetting the words is a sin, if she wants to be a professional she has to sing 18 songs or so during a show, she wont be able to do that. She'll probably struggle this week singing 3.

I don't like Casey, I don't understand how she got this far. I think Anthony hasn't really put in a bad performance. He has put in 1-2 average performances, but Casey has put in a shocker!, How she got three "touchdowns" i don't bloody know. I think that "your so vain" song was woeful!

She should have left Courtney and Anthony.

Oh no, both polls on the News and SMH websites has Casey more popular than Anthony. How can this be?

HE HAS THE WHOLE PACKAGE

no, he is short.
Well then Casey is way off the whole package considering she is fat and ugly!

thats right she is...i am not a fan of either of them. I HATE HATE HATE manufactured stars.
Noll, Sebastian, Cosima  (ohhh my nodules!) They all suck.
I like performers that paid their dues...INXS, Guns and Roses, KISS, ACDC, for eg. They worked their way up to the top and were not handed anything on a platter.
Australian Idol = Australian crap

He has a voice, but it's not a pop voice.

He could use a personality.
Personality? Are you saying Casey has personality? All she does when she gets asked a question is "ummm......well.........its like.......like......good"

Never said a word about Casey, who I'm not too fussed on either way. She needs a few years before she can be interesting to the mainstream. I think at the moment she is getting votes based on being a normal everyday person, which is why the entire concept of Idol is flawed. Kylie Minogue didn't become a star because the Aussie public voted for her in phone polls.

Anthony has NO personality. He is as boring as batshit. It doesn't matter if he's well spoken. He has a quality voice, but it's not right for punchy pop songs in my opinion, it's more suited to ballads and what not.

so just becuase anthony is goodlooking and short he isnt considered a man?? That makes sense Rolling Eyes I know a lot of women between the ages of 20 & 30 who like Anthony and think he is talented.

That's not going to make them buy his CD's though is it? Let's face it, there is a big difference between "cute" and "sexy". Anthony is in buried in the "cute" category. 12-16 year old girls fall in puppy love with him. Then they become women and cute doesn't cut it anymore. They start looking for the "sexy" types - the Shannon Nolls and Robbie Williamses of the singing industry - guys who have a rough edge. These kinds of performers also have more appeal to blokes as well, because they are men. Guys aren't interested in someone who comes across as a powder puff (ie Anthony Callea). They will be more inclined to appreciate a guy who they could picture themselves having a beer with.

If Anthony wins, he will be forgotten quicker then that Kane guy from Popstars

There is no doubt that the media here are drumming up support for Casey. Anthony should still win, but I'm starting to get worried. :?

When I made that comment, I was referring to those who were constantly saying that its only 13 year old girls who would could possibly find Anthony talented, and that they were basing their opinion on his looks.

What you just said is big generalisation. There is a big difference between cute and sexy, but whose to say that some people dont find Anthony sexy? He has a prettyboy look which some women (myself included) find extremely sexy. By no means all women like the prettyboy style, bot you cant limit his sex appeal to girls under the age of 16.

I have said elsewhere that if he were to produce a cd, then i would be likely to buy it as I like the genre it will, most likely, be - pop influenced r&b.

I fail to see a real difference. They are going to use a prime-time television show to give away their lead singer role in way that must be very close to idol...

Maybe I am being a bit too narrow in what women find attractive. I definitely wouldn't be your type if you like pretty boys
