To all of you Raiders fans that were at the game on Sunday against the Eagles and booed Brett Finch off the field shame on all of you! Brett is a fantastic talent with an amazing potential level and all of you that booed him will be eating your words in a years time,when he's leading the Raiders to victory! Whoever booed him, I find it hard to believe that you are true Raiders fans, if you were there's NO way you would have done that. Don't listen to the narrow minded people that booed you Brett, there's still plenty of us right behind you, especially me.

Isn't the next year of Brett's contract an option?

If it is, he won't even be in Canberra next year.

No, his contract is up at the end of 2002 and Matt Elliot said that negotiations to extend that contract will begin after this season ends. I think we'll be lucky if he stays.
