How is this guy going for you guys?

Due to work commitments/study and a lack of Foxtel I don't get to see many Manly games.

The bloke is my favourite player since Penrith won the premiership and was upset to see him go but understood the decision.

Is he playing like a young Steve Menzies? At Penrith he was in awesome form before injury struck. He ran awesome lines and had great defensive technique. Is he showing this for you guys?

Will he hold a position in your backrow for years to come?

Hes got that position until his contract is up or Lussick/Buhrer really boom. He has been awesome for us this year. Been used as a battering ram at times, does the Menzies/Williamsom role well in defense, covers absolutely everything. Has not put a foot wrong in my eyes so far.

A young Steve Menzies? lol no where near.

He is filling the Glen Hall role, just a bit more defence orientated and he's keeping Chris Bailey from getting too much game time which is a good thing. Certainly valuable, I would say we got him at a good price too seeing as we signed him up for 4 years. Hope he stays injury free.

Shane Rodney is the man.

Should've been in the City side, wouldn't look out of place for NSW. Seriously.

I think he made the most metres for a forward last night.
Who was he playing for before he came to us, was it NSW Cup for Penrith?

He played FG for Penrith but spent two years on the sidelines with injury.

If it weren't for the two straight years on the sidelines I'd imagine he'd still be in a Penrith jersey.

IIRC he has played for City twice, I'm surprised he didn't get another run considering how good your pack is going plus how well you guys say he is going.

It'll be great if a full strength Panthers pack gets to take on a full strength Manly pack when our sides play.

He has bulked up alot though. The Steve Menzies comparison weren't that far fetched circa 03-06. He made Ryan Cross his bitch in the 2003 GF filling in at centre when Girdler went off injured.
