ok i concede he is the modern day stumpy stevens but we need some players with the agro of ryles or sims.
I played footy with Stump in his final year of footy.

your comparison could not be further from the mark.
Stumpy was an axe. Probably the original.
he was also originally a half back, who went to hooker.
he was a ball player & support player & dummy half.
he was a fantastic tactical kicker.
& alround f**king genius bloke.

Smart post, bag a guy who looks like he might be getting an SOO call up if a few injuries go his way. Also the Sharks most consistent player for 3 years.
Perhaps you can shed a light on which forward you would prefer Nuttley to be.
then give me 10 minutes to tear apart.

good on you hobo

the point that galloway is 18 doesnt really detract from the point i made that he is a young gun (who you dont rate) who dominated brisbane's pack

but you've probably got alzheimers, old timer, you wouldnt be able to remember the broncos game just like you cant remember the souths game

i remember both games nark, very well indeed.

i dont rate galloway and throw it open to others and ask what they feel, he has been dropped this season and got relatively little game time versus canberra.

nutley like it or not while a wholehearted worker cannot dent the line as much as the bigger players, surely you cannot argue with that logic.

jason stevens and players of his size are sought after for that reason.

was it you who boasted a top 10% english result inthe hsc?? if so i would have thought you could use some facts and structure to your debates.

in the meantime continue using the clearasil and dont forget to put the p plates on when you borrow your old mans car.

still struggling and going with the nark call i see
keep trying

dropped this season? pretty much all of the forwards have been 'dropped' this season except stevens

i advocated dropping nutley at the start of the year because he was giving away too many penalties. now that he's almost cleaned up that area of his play he's got to be one of the first picked. he's a workhorse and he is a good partner to stevo. stop carrying on with that line break nonsense

i would have thought you could use some facts and structure to your debates.

coming from a guy who doesnt like nutley because he doesnt break the line regularly enough
facts and srtucture?

i see there's some life in you yet, well the pacemaker hasnt stopped anyway - thanks for the tip, those youth jokes really hurt

hopefully one day there will be a cure for your cataracts and you'll be able to watch the footy like the rest of us and form a real opinion on whats going on, because your comments clearly indicate that you've never seen a game of footy in your life

Pogo joins the elite group of posters who are still struggling to have their first correct opinion or bit of info, on anything.
Another thing I've noticed from this group, & maybe you guys from the habitually incorrect can help me here, but they all seem to resort to name calling on a regular basis.
Is it part of the problem where they just can't think of anything intelligent, funny or possibly even fluke a correct idea?

An opinion, by the definition of the word, can be neither correct nor incorrect.
Just an opinion.

Here's mine on the topic at hand:-

It's painfully obvious that without Stevo we lack grunt up front.
With him there getting through the ad-line he gets the defence on the backfoot, opening it up for Nutley to make one of his runs, quick play the ball and then on for Galloway to do his thing.

Without Stevo laying the initial platform those two are far less effective (as are the rest of the forwards).
Check the early rounds this year when our forwards were getting smashed. No Stevo then and same story. Once he was back they improved tenfold.

As for J Williams, popular rumour at the Broncos match from someone "in the know" is that he is being disciplined for an off-the-field incident. Maybe that's what Pogo's "scoop" was. Who knows??....

Seriously doubt it, McS.
I'd love to but have to see how finances hold out.

Is it true Mascot airport asked to use your eyeballs as runway lights after the Broncos match?

They wanted to but unfortunately mine were shut on the descent into Sydney. Sleep is highly under-rated.
