Anderson's long gone now, Aries. We can't blame him forever.
We've still got 5 Internationals and a State of Origin player in our side. Add to that a number of junior Australian representatives and we've got a pretty healthy look on paper. It's just not translating onto the field.

Im missed your post some how Popper...

I can blame CA for as long as it takes to rid us of his "dickhead" culture. It is embedded deeply I fear...

Seriously though, I think Rapes deserves more of a break the CA deserves because CA had a top 4 team handed to him when he took over. He turned it into a 12th place team in 2 years... what a genius

It is going to take Rapes a few yeas to fix this mess. Lets get a few wins on the board this year and our top team on the park first!

If ya talking to me, I'm stunned...

It wasn't a "hahaha that was funny cheese" or "you da man Reefy" or "best post ever" or "  " post.. you do actually have a mind of your own

Oh, btw, you have no hope of shutting me up on my own threads :D

Well, you could always do one of the mods "favours" 8)

certainly a win is needed to get some momentum back into a club which has had some very public problems over the last 18 months.
unfortunately there is a group of players at odds with a certain official, injuries have played a big part, certain players have not played anywhere near thier ability, suspensions, a new coach with a different management style, the captain under intense media scrutiny to hold his test spot and an opposition coaching director pot shotting him at every opportunity.
what a recipe when trying to get back on the rails.
with our top side on the paddock we are competitive with any club, however, the aforementioned problems are starting to undermine the players confidence.
all supporters want a quick fix i doubt we will get it but a better showing tonight might be the catalyst for big improvement.
for my two bobs worth i think the off field issues need sorting before we will see the real sharks on the field.

I payed out on CA most of last year, and the year before, because I was right about him!!

I am also right in what I have written here

Are you gaining inspiration from here Aries?:- http://maddox.xmission.com/

Sounds like "This thread is about me and why everything I like is great. If you disagree with anything you find in this thread you are wrong" :D :D

SO Don Juan you think it's like all Aries threads then.

Though he has finally made a decent point. How Raper goes with retention and recruiting will be very interesting.

I have to agree with Pogo there.... if we can fix the off field dramas then the on field success has to flow, because as others in this thread have said we have a good side on paper. Pogo is also spot on with the assertion we want the quick fix. I think this is because when you go for sooooo long with VERY limited success you become impatient as a supporter and you get to a point where you just want to SCREAM!!!. Every weekend for the past couple of seasons Ive been waiting for Us to fire, like I know we should be able but the reality is I dont think its going to happen in the short term. Maybe we just have to remain staunch as supporters. Who was it that said "hope springs eternal"?

Anybody else remember a worse time in our club's history?

Dolph
