Agreed! Will be keeping an eye on hin in the next 2 test. Runs great lines and the first defender usually wound up on his back.

The squad can go up to 30, Xerri's centre partner in 20's i thought looked real good and as we;; as Trindall, wasnt Ava being shopped around.

That was Jackson Ferris and he does have potential. Also Trindall looks quality. Imagine both train full time through the off season.

Squad still looks weak in the back row.

My hunch is we end up with Hayne and a backrower cut from the coaching merry-go-round.

Trent Merrin is being pushed out at Penrith, but is desperate to stay in Aus, but running out of options. I wouldn't want him, but would be a Flanno type signing.

I doubt we spend any more "big" money. Plan is for Prior to drop to 13 in 2020 and Woods to prop so I doubt we spend on another middle like Merrin. We need edges. Nikora I love though, I hope he gets a shot. Ferris is signed but must not be top 30.

Our squad is a strange balance - we need a winger, second rower and hooker(or a guy who can play halves/hooker). Xeri and Lu can play wing I guess. I do not agree with it but I could see Magoulias being our 3rd string for hooker. We really can't spend a season with Capewell/Sorenson as first choice on an edge especially given Graham is out for half a season and Boogie is now a middle.
