Michael Gordon has impressed me in the few games he's had...strong, quick and dedicate. Shows a lot of determination...very similar attitude to Covell, but with more positive natural attributes.

I'd take him and Millard...and leave Galea.

I dont rate Elford, I want a center that can attack not just defend!

Gees hes quick with a good fend, must look up his No. of tries.

Defence is the hardest of the two to have or want to do so that's a hell of a start.

I like the look of Millard!

As for Galea well i think we are chasing the wrong Galea! We should of signed Benny this time last year! Danny does not excite me! Looks very slow for a centre!

Good call on Elford, if we keep our playing style as is we want a defense orientated centre to fill Baileys void. Millard looks pretty good aswell, but some on here have questions over his defense. I'd be happy to get both, Elford can switch to the wing in attack if he doesn't create and Millard can switch to centre if he is a creator. No idea about Galea or Gordon.

Hmmm interesting, adds some interest for me watching the other teams going around this weekend.
I gather we aren't trying to go for a half at all, maybe a bench/impact player in the mould of Latu?

What about a couple of centres with high potential, Beau Scott and Ben Pommeroy, both from the Cronulla Sharks.

Apparently he had potential at Penrith im just trying to work out how long it takes for potential to kick in:?

Galea is the bloke we made mince meat of up at CUA. Right sided centre with no idea how to defend at this stage. Delaney's got nothing. Millard looks the goods. Elford should be the pea though.

Signing any of the above is a gamble really.

Galea and Delaney haven't set the world on fire this season.

Millard only played a few games at First Grade level.

Elford? Solid but not a gamebreaker thats for sure.

We definately left our run for centres about 2 months too late this season.

Webster's most likely headed to the Titans.

Im thinking our best bet might be to hold off untill some decent centres come off the market next year and maybe give the Pom, Scott, or Kelly a run next year.

I agree. I doubt we'll be in the running for any of the more established guys though.

It looks too much like a "we'll take him but if not we'll grab him and if we fail there we can always go for him" type of hit and miss exercise.

Almost like they'll be happy if any one of them signs.

Elford would be a good signing and not seeing a lot of the top grade, is he? Solid defender. I would prefer Webster given the choice, but Millard looks classy.

I shudder to think that Beau Scott would be our top line centre next year.

trav robinson will be back, as will brett kelly as will matt raftery. they'll be a bit raw at the start of the year, but by year end, i think we'll see robinson as the club's top centre. kid can play.

Don't know why Cronulla bother chasing they never get anyone until it's been picked clean or all other clubs run out of cap space.

Why is this so?

Robinson has alot of talent but is untested. I hope he recovers well and get's a go next year.

I like the look of Millard - fits the mould for the centre model in the modern game. Big, strong and mobile. Webster would also be a great signing - probably the pick of the bunch.
