With a stroke of luck, or maybe not.... our bye this weekend coincides with the Cronulla Jazz and Blues festival this weekend.
A few of us are actually playing at these gigs. If you've got nothing on it could be worth your while.
Hit me up privately if you wanna know which one I'm playing. It's not too hard to guess if you know my where my loyalties with local beer makers lie haha.
EDIT: well they Brewery isnt named, so the Shark Island Brewery Stage is at Bakers Lane (old fusions) on both Friday and Saturday nights

I've seen George Washingmachine several times, he's a violinist who plays swing jazz, my wife loves him.

I am making my way down late afternoon after my band practice. So good to see the return of live music.

Yep, not well but I know him as he is also playing on our stage tonight, he’s in our mates band Grizzly McDuff.
actually I was taking some gear down there a couple of hours ago and he rang Driza while I was driving.

Yeah that’s his regular band. Great bloke. Only recently reconnected since school really...you know how it goes....life and all that. He’s an absolutely mad Oils fan.

But me and another mate are going to see the gig next Saturday. Haven’t told him, just gonna lob.

Nah mate. I've ended up doing a 6 piece with no bass or drums!! Orchestral like, with classical guitar, violin, mandolin and piano.

I’ve only done one gig with Alannah, also recorded a track or two for her upcoming album. She’s lovely.
