Sharks get a leg up for Round 1 & 2

Looks like the first two sides we play will be without a bit of key fire power. Pat Richards a tall quick winger who was signed by the Tigers this season is out for two months with a broken leg and Matt Utai is out for 3 weeks minimum with suspension from the Bulldogs.

Both would of been dangerous players against our lighter wingers in the first two rounds and I think it's a tremendous boost for our chances in both games!

This saga won't be over before we play them, it could take up to 8 weeks to prove or disprove any or all of this. I don't know if those players involved will be temporarily suspended while the investigation takes place or if they will be allowed to play. I hope we play their strongest side though.

After the season you had last year, you should be grateful other teams are feeling the heat for off-field dramas ;-)

If they're charged, they should be suspended by the club. Regardless of who they play for

I bet they get out of it. Like it will be "how sorry they are for driking to much" and "they will be seeking counselling from some religious person" or Alan Jones will be helping the players find themseleves, or "a troubled home life". Any thing but admitting to any offence and facing like a man.

If the opposition is weakened then it should be easier for us. But that is not always the case as sometimes an underdog can lift or a favourite can get `cocky'.
I heard Tigers just signed Jason Moodie. Probably to replace Richards.

You can only beat who's put in front of you. To be quite frank I don't care how we win (unless it's something extremely stupid, eg: going AFL style and trying to eat somebody's crown jewels)
