Put Baz down a certainty to leave. If Flanno gets him to stay, it will be exceptional people management skills & an abslolute truck load of cash. I have no idea what Flanno is going to do if he cant get him because the market is tight & the numbers very low.

I knew it. Mortz/Snowman whatever he calls himself has no inside info. Ive also been told that another Mortz special, Isaac Gordon hasnt had a big offer from Newcastle and hopes to resign with the sharks. The other players we are linked to have all been mentioned in the news or RLW.

Covell is not likely to be on much more than the bare minimum. We were very late in re-signing him and it was only a 1 year contract.

Williams I'd be surprised if he was on much more than 200k, likewise for the Pom. Either way I think we're going to have a hard time offloading the Pom, at the very least without having to pay part of his contract.

If Baz goes we should be throwing his 350k at a half. Ports/Smith/AK/Lewis is a very shallow halves pool to call on.

It will be easy to off load Pom Inferno because he is off contract. I for one actually hope we resign him. Covell would be on more than you think, around $150k I reckon. I agree we have a problem if Baz retires, who is available? I have a feeling he is going to play on.

My guesstimates are the same as yours except for Covell who is on at least triple the bare minimum

That's 750k plus what Cov is on = nearly a million bux as I said.

Pom is a rep player when it's all said and done. He'll get a gig.

When we resigned Williams it was just before his knee reco and he was looking like a future Origin player, having been picked for City Country etc.

I would think him on a decent wage.

We are going to be losing a few players who we no doubt paid decent coin for (Pom, Baz you would think).

We will have the space. But I think we need to lock up our BEST youngsters first.
