Turner wants out (from Titans) but only because he changed his mind, Titans dont have to oblige

Put whatever spin on it you like.

Walker wanted out for personal reasons and the Storm obliged.

Turner doesn't have any personal reasons to be granted a release

What do the Tigers have to do with this?

Theyre in no contract dispute with any players.

How do you know? FFS .

because he said so

At the height of the saga in October, it was suggested Turner wanted to remain in Melbourne due to personal issues relating to his partner Kate Novak.

But Turner said: "That's not an issue at all. Kate's happy to do what I want to do. She's handled it really well. There was never a hint of her keeping me here, she has said she'll support whatever decision I make.''

Titans boss Michael Searle says he contacted Sharks chief executive Greg Pierce late last week.
"I knew they were struggling to find a suitable replacement for Darren Albert so close to the season kick-off,'' Searle said.

I didn't know the Titans were based in Sydney?

"Chris has indicated there are a number of personal and family issues he would like to address over the ensuing months that will require him to be based in Sydney.

Didn't see a single word about the Titans in that about the release of Walker. Stop making up sh*t as you go along, you are starting to look like an idiot.

Bullsh*t. If the GC are happy with the deal, it's none of his, or anyone else's business.

David Gallop is the ceo of the nrl and this very public wrangle between two nrl clubs is very much his business. He should act asap to end this matter forthwith.

there's really not much he can do other than advise the spoilt little brat and wanker Waldron to let it go.

I actually heard an interview with Dave Riolo about a month ago and even he appeared to be little sick and tired of the situation.

Baloney. Gallop could end this today. Just tell Turner to get his arse up to the GC or else he never plays in the nrl again. Simple.

Problem could be that could end up in court for years and drag the game through the mud.

Probably better for him now to try and help all parties resolve this matter.

get real...he's been telling him to get his arse up there for months, you, I and everyone else knows too well that it'll be a bad PR move to threaten the kid of life explolsion of the competition if he refuses to do that especially when they're carrying a board member who himself sat out a season for nearly the same reason.

Bad PR? So this whole debacle hasn't been bad PR already? Gallop should end it now. Tell the 'kid' to honour his contract or else. I'm pretty sure people would have second thoughts about trying a similar rort in furture. The nrl needs stong leadership and I have grave doubts about Gallop. Just look at the Gordon Tallis affair.

Gallop does look weak....looks like he'd prefer to not get involved rather than step in take control and end it all.
He needs to deal with Waldron too.....publicly exposed liars need to be publicly reprimanded
