the next AGM is in MAY

Bugger, I'll be overseas. I was hoping for February. Let me guess, they've pushed it back 3 months in the hope of starting the season in a positive manner.

It seems very interesting to me that they have failed to answer my personal email requesting a date for the next football club agm. I would like to see everyone send an email requesting this info and if they ignore them we should collate the total. Why the big secret?

May?

I have now received a reply:

Good morning xxxx
Thankyou for your email enquiry and I make the following comments:

The last AGM was held 31 May 2006. No formal date has been set for the next AGM as yet, but I would assume that it will be around the same time next year. Yes, you are eligible to vote, providing your membership fees are up to date.

The details of the AGM are always included in the annual report. Notices are posted around the club as well for members frequenting our club.

When joining our club, you have elected to receive newsletters but no annual report on your application form.
I trust this information helps.

Regards

Diane Mott

Judging by this the next chance to vote in the football club elections is May 2007.

Is the AGM for the leagues club or football club or both?? I ask this as there is not much point attending the AGM of the leagues club as this would have little relevance to football club matters.

AN UPDATE for those that are genuinely interested.

If you are a member of the leagues club, or the Football club you can request to view the relevant constitution(s) at club reception. Any member can do this. You cannot however leave reception with them. I encourage all of you who can and are interested to do so.

I am now pursuing how to actually get a copy.

Just use the old - "look whats that over there" *points strenuously* - then run out the door with it.

Anyone know if Peter Gow could be enticed back? The club was very successful under his leadership and he ran the club like a business.

I know he did a silly thing with the dragqueens jumper which led to his resignation (sacking??) but we need someone like him to make this club a professional unit instead of an amateur shambles like it is currently.

If not Peter Gow, is there anyone else who could be enticed to run on a ticket to kick-start a new, professional, successful era?

Agreed. The fastest runner should be appointed to the "bolt" from reception. Using the golden "look the goodyear blimp" technique!!!

Gowerz please let me know if you find a way to obtain a copy we can legitimately keep.

I don't think PG will come back. The real point is he should never have been run out!!! Thanks Piercey you did a great job!!!:crazy:

You tick the box marked 'Football Club' on your Leagues Club application form, and pay an extra ten bucks

It is well worth joining as you get a free pass into a game. So for $10, you get a ground entry pass worth $18. I already have a season pass, but it's good of you are paying to get your missus in etc.

I don't think Peter Gow did anything wrong when he cut the guys jersey up. I thought he gave him some money for the priviledge AND had done a similar thing when the Sharks had beaten Manly.

I think the guy whose jersey he destroyed didn't realise he was actually going to do it. I don;t know the details though.

Either way Gow was good and the Sharks have been slowly declining since then.

Also you can't argue that Elle is better looking than Cathy.

I agree, Peter gow would bring back some much needed passion to the sharks board, I mean, he must really love the club if he was prepared to put it all on the line just to spite some dragons supporter, BRING BACK PETER GOW!!!!
