I think Hodkinson will go alright.

I bet he didn’t expect such an early debut for us.

My only concern is him & Townsend are too similar.

Thinking out loud here....
What happens if the Chad/Hodg team click and we win well??
The mind doesn't need to boggle too far..

If MESSIAH was still with us, which we all know he’s not... LOL

He’d suggest:

Chad to fullback, Lewis to 5/8th, Moyza to hooker, the entire Jets backline to fill in the rest of the gaps...

Put this out there Kurt Dillon from mid season last year we keep hearing close to debut each week, he is at least in the 21 but Flanno never gives him a chance.

I would say during this period that our bench has not been lets saying setting the field alight when they do get a run, but Dillon just seems never to get a chance

Your right, the bench hasnt been impressive but i think that has more to do with Flanno's use of the bench than who is on it. 15minutes on the field at the back end of a game is barely enough time to adjust to the rythm of the game nevermind trying to flip it on its head. Especially for someone like Segwah who is expected to control the tempo from DH.

SharkCast boys were calling for a double rotation between Brailey & Segeyaro.

Uses up too many interchanges though...I reckon give Brailey about 50, when the opposition is starting to tire a bit in the 2nd half.

They got permission from the NRL apparently

I don't understand why Cronulla weren't forced to play someone like Paulo (or even Wayde Graham) at 5/8. What's the point in naming a 21 man squad? Doesn't seem fair to me. If your coach can't allow for injuries when selecting a 21 man squad, then bad luck.

I have a proposal for future Sharks v Eels matches -

If the game is top quality - it should remain the Johnny Mannah Cup.
If the game is an absolute disgrace and embarrassment - it is should be called the Ricky Stuart Urinal.

Our game should not be dictated to by gambling.

Who cares who gets named except gamblers.

in 1950 who cared? As long as the numbers of players are correct for fans who bought the guide. 22 is playing six.

f**k the gamblers.

We fans care. The point is that Cronulla's original 14 - 21 did not contain a specialist half. That's probably poor planning, and should not be rewarded by special dispensation. Otherwise, what is the point of naming a 21 man squad in the first place?Anyway, good luck for tonight. Hope it's a good game.
