I have been trying to think who Tracey reminds me of and it is Shaun Berrigan. Can play him anywhere,, great acceleration, good reading of playing, runs good lines, in defence, just classic leg tackles, hard to get past, frustrates, bundle of energy.

I doubt it…. Looks like a clear directive from Fitz to have a look at Tracey at centre with a view to next year imo. Dugan is cooked and Chambers is a stop gap.

I understand that but they rarely play on their non preferred side and the training often doesn't translate to game day. It's more than just about where they stand on the field. Combos matter. Familiarity matters. Game time matters.

If he rushed up in defence like he did in the 2 games he played Stagg will swallow him

Maybe not but how you get "clear directive from Fitz" is a stretch. Where did he say that?

If Chambers is stopgap why doesn't he play for the Jets and have Tracey in all the time? Tracey is the stopgap.

Reckon you’ll find that Chambers will become the stopgap if Tracey performs well at centre over the next couple of weeks. Clearly a case of Tracey and Trindall can’t both be on the bench. With both wingers back for the first time in ages Tracey gets a crack at centre.

Tracey was horrid. Missed more tackles in one match (7) than Chambers has in 7 matches (6).

Traceys moved into no set position territory which will probably be detrimental to his career. Centre i think is 1 position where you can't afford makeshift players particularly in defence.
