To the other fans, the whole "how long since you've been in first grade" is not much of an insult to us. I was only 10 months old when Newtown got the boot so it doesn't faze me that they're not in the top grade. I support Newtown because they're my local team. I understand those kids were being kids. As they mature I hope they develop a great sense of wit.

For friendly banter I suggest "Sharks wannabes" "shit team from Redfern" "Auckland Jets" (given the number of Kiwis in the squad).

Fun is fun, however when all these toe-rags can come up with is "where is your first grade team" then we as fans of non NRL teams start to get p*ssed off with that sort of attitude.
What give these little pains the right to bag off a team (Norths and/or Newtown) that if it wasn't for them their team wouldn't be in the comp?
I as a Newtown fan WILL NOT be going to the Jets games at what-ever-the-ground-is-called-this-week Park, as I do not wish mindless little tossers having a go at me and my team. Yes, I'm all for a bit of banter with the opposition but not with those little clowns who give Cronulla a bad name.
I can't wait till the one year deal is over with Cronulla and we get our Jets back and not some Super League feeder club.
