Rumours around that he has depression. Then again I can sympathise with living in Salford with the local chavs.

Not the best coach in SL but I hope he recovers. Depression sucks.

Salford fans also call him a fat walrus and chant 'slug out' at their games. I'm not being PC, starting a thread with the title 'Shaun McRae is clinically depressed' when there is no evidence to suggest that is true isn't something anyone should be doing.

He's not good enough to be a coach.

Merely pointing out that just because a forum says so don't make it true. Rather than guessing at why he has been given leave for a month why not say what you think is going to happen at Salford? Will Alker take over? Is Simms up for it? Its a bad start to a season that promised much and is it vital Salford do something as Franchises are to be decided soon?

People reading this forum may not know about the goings on at the Reds and it will be more interesting than guess work and rumour mongering.

What do you think/would like to happen at Salford for the rest of the year? Is it to early to give up and prepare for the new stadium? Do you promote from within, or do what everyone else does and draft in another Aussie?

Look, there is a good chance he might have depression, or his illness might have been worsened by stress or whatever, that's the logical conclusion to come to. But there is nothing that gives you the right to post this as a concrete fact, no official sources have come out and said he's got depression, or specified anything about his illness. Therefore starting a thread called 'McRae has clinical depression' was not the right thing to do. I've got no issue with you speculating that he might be depressed or whatever. But trying to prove it as a fact using messages on an online newspaper or posts on a fans forum is just stupid.
