Anyone who enjoys a laugh must see this film.

I was slightly cynical going into the cinema (I was expecting another Scary Movie clone.. and how droll are they). But this was a thousand times funnier than anything Scary Movie could even hint at.

The basic premise is that its a romantic comedy set in zombie-infested London. The gags and the laughs are non-stop, especially for anyone who appreciates good British humour. There are even moments where I was on the edge of my seat, which is more than can be said for a lot of modern horror films.

There are plenty of subtle nods to other films for the true film buffs amongst us, and those of you who like Queen (and I know there's lots of you on this forum) will love the soundtrack.

I'd give it an 8/10. Best comedy I've seen in ages.

Can't wait to see this. I've got mates who have been raving about it since it first went into production, and as soon as it hits the local cinema, I'll be there.

Loved it  .

*Possible Spoiler*

I loved the little homages to the Romero Zombie Films. In Dawn of the Dead, the Characters went to the Mall, a subtly dig at the control consumerism has on our lives. Where do Shaun and Ed Go?

"Purple Haze"
"No"
"Sign of the Tmes"
"Definately not"
"Batman Soundtrack"
"Throw it"

May see Shaun of the Dead at the same time

Two movies simultaneously eh? :p

Tidus, I have heard some really good stuff about it, that's why I'm interested in it. On a scale of 1 -10, what would your rating be?

Two movies simultaneously eh?

I knew someone would supply that witicism as soon as I hit 'Submit'.

Obviously I'll be seeing them back to back. After the play I'm directing opens tomorrow, I'll be home free with time to burn.

You'll have a good day CWB. I've seen both of these movies, and they are two of the best of the year so far. 5 stars to Shaun, 4 to Collateral. Thanks for watching. I'm Margaret Pomeranz, goodnight.

I'd been reading nothing but rave reviews for this movie for the past eight months or so before I finally saw it last weekend. It wasn't quite what I expected. I loved it but I wasn't in love with it. I only laughed out loud probably twice through the whole film but was amused the whole way through. The plot and characters are quaint.

Will be hard for the two to top the best movies I've seen this year. Those people:

Dawn of the Dead
Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind

Looking forward to it all the same. I haven't seen a movie at the cinema since The Village. *Shudder*
