The penalty count finished up 14-12 in Souths favour.
Hardly a penalty count which heavily favoured Souths

Eric Grothe Jr's try should have been disallowed as Parramatta were offside when the ball was stolen from Willie Peters. :x

In the end though Parramatta were the better team and deserved their victory.

He does struggle a lot, his biggest problem is he is so gullible - as soon as a player falls over he awards a penalty for a tackling infringement, if the crowd boo for more than 2 tackles its a written guarantee that he will blow a penalty for offside. Thats why his penalty counts are so disgustingly high.

But as was mentioned earlier, I think Mander had his best ever game last week in the roosters v penrith match - it was the first time since the occasional Harrigan game that I thought the referee was brilliant and made the match much better.

Parra got dudded a number of times by Hayne,and he only levelled the penalty count when Parra were 14 or so in front.Cayless on most counts had a point.But being on the wrong end of dubious and downright wrong calls is a WestsTigers specialty welcome to the club Parra.

Rubbish. Wagon and another Eel were offside but Hindmarsh got back the 10 and he was the only player involved in the tackle. Hayne gave far too many penalties but there is no way it favoured us, they went both ways.

I agree with his thread he is the worst referee in the game. Whats he still doing in first grade after that poor display in the Parramatta/Sharks game last year.

Hell an C Grade referee wouldve done a better job than that.

But yesterday you couldnt blame it all on the ref. Half the time both sides were off side and the touch judge's did nothing about it. What are touch judges doing.

What about that touchie in the Penrith/Melbourne game on Sunday? :lol: :roll:
