Sheens issues apology

Messages

Alas it was only for yesterday.
The apology didn't include sh*thouse performances for 2 years
The signing of O'Hara
The signing of Morris to replace Prince
The signing of Galloway
The signing of J Lo
The signing of Harris
The signing of D Galea
The continual selections of D Fitzhenry
The continual selection of the clown J Morris
The continued employment of defensive guru simmons who has us averaging to cop 30 points a week for 4 seasons running (back half of 05 excluded)

Do us all a favour shines and f**k off. You jagged a comp in 05 but other than that you have been sh*t for in excess of a decade and managed to win comps with Canberra when they had 37 internationals at once . Take that penrith gnome with you.

Do you suffer from autism?
Repetition is a condition I believe.
Do us all a favour and change the record.

Why the f**k should i change the record.
Does that incompetent coach ever change it ?
I'll change the record when we change coaches and employ one that's competent
Deal ?

Repeatitive, but hard to argue with it, ink.

Apart from Galloway (I believe he'll develop into a top shelf prop, even if we did pay overs) all the other buys have been rubbish. Our recruitment is pathetic. Of all our best signings (Hodgson, Prince, Richards, Elford etc.) only one of them remains, and he's at the back end of his career. Also, don't forget the likes of that oxygen thief Sattler and probably the best signing of all time, Nick Graham. Then Morris replaces Prince to top it all off.

Time to take a punt on Moltzen, or someone else in PL but we all know what the chances of that are.

Why would you bother arguing with it? It is insataible. Unrelenting. Every opportunity is taken to make the same old point.

We hear you.

We keep hearing you.

There are plenty of other things to talk about in the meantime.

Every f*cking thread does not have to come back to whether or not you like Sheens, Morris or Fitzhenry.

Try broadening your reportoire a little, or maybe limit yourself to one or two threads where that's what the discussion is all about.

Most of the time it's hard enough being a Tigers fan as it is...

You forgot to add the loss of John Wilson.

One of your best players, carving it up for Les Catalans in the ESL.

Why isnt Sheens accountable, he is 400 plus a year and the teams has done f all in two years and he is in charge

Because he has the media peddling his propaganda machine and putting it out there that he is a good coach when statistically he is anything but ...

I'm simply astounded that you forgot Moodie!

Slammin Sam Harris, is now struggling to crack selection for the Central Coast Rays Rugby Onion team ..

Here is a list of players we've signed since Sheens took over. Let me know if I've missed anyone (I'm sure there is a few, some of them who never played firsts as they were absolute garbage)

I've bolded the ones who were good signings, or who potentially were/are good signings.

Shane ELFORD
Danny GALEA
Keith GALLOWAY
Nick GRAHAM
Tom HARBRECHT
Luke HARLEN
Sam HARRIS
Brett HODGSON
Matt JOBSON
Peter LEWIS
Jamaal LOLESI
Tim MCGAAN
Jason MOODIE
John MORRIS
Ryan O'HARA
Todd PAYTEN
Scott PRINCE
Ben REYNOLDS
Pat RICHARDS
Matthew REICK
Jarrod SAFFY
Scott SATTLER
Paul WHATUIRA

You forgot Harlen as well as a few others.

IMHO Danny Galea will prove to be a prudent signing next year, I would bold Moodie for his first stint with the club, not this years return.

ATM O'Hara is being wasted in Premier League. If he stays and he gets a shot he would be a welcome addition to the prop rotation.

Start with Payten & O;Hara and carry Galloway and Gibbs on the bench maybe. Saffy is best in the second row

Agree with most of that, not sure about O'Hara though, although I think he deserves a chance with the way we are playing at the moment. Apparently he's on standby for Gibbs this week.

In the words of Sheens himself, Danny Galea was bought to play second row, which IMO is absolutely ridiculous when we already have enough backrowers - he is not a rampaging, barnstorming backrower with an offload, so we don't need him there.

Agree with Moodie also, first stint was worthwhile, second a waste of time, money and cigarettes.

I've added Harlen in. Who else have I missed, I'd love a complete list.

As for complete list do we include kids he has bought down from Keebra in this list or just inter club purchasing

I was going to include just inter club purchasing. But I can make a separate list for kids, to keep it fair.

Inter club is just as fair really.

I think the purchase of Galea was a prudent one. Even though we do have a plethora of back rowers 06 showed us how much having Fulton missing hurt the side.

It was impossible to predict that Teo would make a consistant impact, Benny G was always a chance of leaving at the end of this year and Saffy was still an unknown.

It is a matter of taking a punt for a year but while such a smart footballer and potent defender was on the market it was a pretty smart move to sign him.

I can see where you are coming from though

I just think for the amount of money that D.Galea is reportedly on, we really should have saved it and bought a halfback. I know there wasn't much on the market, but throughout the year a few options have come up and we've overlooked them, apparently because we don't have any room in the cap.

I look at Brisbane's roster, and then I look at ours and wonder where the hell the money has gone? There are quite clearly many players who are being overpaid; specifically the likes of Galloway (probably the only one I can understand why we paid overs for, work in progress etc.), O'Hara, Morris etc.

I think we were in the same boat last season HT.

We had a dismal roster and thought who the hell is earning it all? We found out we haven't been able to even MEET the cap limit as we had minimal cash.. this season we obviously know we paid Vagana, Galovau, Asotasi, Kidwell over 300K each and Merritt, Sutton, Hegarty, Widders are all on around 200k-250k. We offered Williams 200k but he knocked us back so we withdrew the offer. I still reckon for such an athletic side Williams would be a bargain pick up for you guys. Seriously the kid will be on 50k in France.

Galea played very well for Penrith before you bought him- isn't he up to scratch this season? I thought we missed a chance signing him.
