Well no doubt this wont make all forum members very Yappy. As there are certain members who think Sheens should be signed on a year to year basis,to be perfectly honest I was one of these people. But in saying this Im sure it will be great for club moral and all the kids who enjoy playing under 'Coach Sheens' to better enhance their ability and stability which is much needed in this club of ours.I suppose at the end of the day coaches are humans as well and like players need to be reassured so maybe signing him is not a bad thing after all.

Don't tell me he still insists on being called Coach Sheens  Anyway, i think it's a good move, things are looking up for our club, and while we will struggle for top 8 this year, not many clubs have to field a bench with the oldest person being 20 on it, i think he has shown enough to let him finish what he has started. That doesn't mean i agree with everything he does and all his selections, but i haven't won any premierships or even coached a 1st grade side.

Kid,I like the way you make mention of the fact "but i haven't won any premierships or even coached a 1st grade side." That is a good point, because judging by some astute armchair critics on here they have at some stage obviously achieved this. But yes I agree not all that coach Sheens does is to my liking as well for e.g...Patterson in first grade,Covell never given a chance. But at the end of the day I suppose he know's best and has the credential's to back him.And Besides the coaches we had yesteryear were laughing stock hopefully this will change for good.

This is good for the team and hopefully it boosts their confidence for the rest of the year and the next few years to come knowing they will be playing basically the same style of football for a while. Don't worry Max, Covell will be in First Grade in the next 2 or 3 weeks but as a Second Row Utility player.
