This is the team that should run out against the Bulldogs IMO

1. Moltzen
2. Utai
3. Ayshford
4. Lawrence
5. Ryan
6. Sirro
7. Benji
8. Woods
9. Farah
10. Galloway
11. Blair
12. Fulton
13. Bell

14. Humble
15. BMM
16. Cashmere
17. Moors

I think last night showed Moltzen is our best option at fullback. Even though his support play is limited Beau's is non existant & he also doesnt have the ball playing skills needed. Beau has been one of our best & deserves a wing spot over Lote, same with Utai, he does not deserve to be dropped. Reddy's defense is woeful & he has no place in the team. Ayshford will show improvement if he is put back in his preferred position & stops playing musical chairs. Im tempted to drop Blair but there is no one to replace him with, if Ellis is ready to return I would drop Moors from the bench & put Ellis in his place to ease him back in. He will offer great impact off the bench. Fulton I LOVE YOU! Pease hurry back our defense misses you. Heighno, Im sorry to say it but it's time to go. Every time you ran back into the markers last night & got dominated I just shook my head, I stopped yelling at the tv after the tenth time. Your defense is also shocking. Cashman is lucky to retain his spot but we have no other prop options, Groats defense is not up to first grade standards yet. Ioseffa I dont understand what Sheens see's in you, I sure as hell cant see it.
I heard Sheens say in the post match that our defense was not up to scratch & he cant cop it from some guys anymore so hopefully he'll make some needed changes & sensible ones at that.
Thats my thoughts. I criticized a member in another post for what I thought was a ridiculous suggestion so I guess its only fair to put my suggestions out there for criticism.

I like it for the most part, except moors is not up to first grade standard. We really miss Ellis and Fulton, and Gibbs and fifita to be honest.

Moltzen is out for 3 weeks apparently.

besides, I prefer my fullback to be positioned properly, jump to take high balls and actually contest high kicks.

I can live without the support play from beau because he offers so much more defensive stability at fullback which is far more important for a fullback.

If I were to dare to drea, next game would be

1 - Ryan
2 - Koribete
3 - Ayshford
4 - Lawrence
5 - Chisholm
6 - Marshall
7 - Sironen (to be replaced by Moltzen when he returns from injury)
8 - Woods
9 - Farah (Politoni when Farah is out)
10 - Galloway
11 - Bell
12 - Heighington (Hino to move to the bench, replacing Moors, when Ellis comes back)
13 - Fulton

14 - Cashmere
15 - Murdoch-Masila
16 - Moors
17 - Humble

Our depth is so shithouse that some under performers will have to be retained.

I contemplated the prospect of having Utai in the back row, but his defensive technique worries me.

I think the utility back on the bench should be someone who can slot in for whichever back needs replacing as its means no one else is shuffled to a new position mid-game.

Fulton and Heighington can play for 80 mins. Bell, Woods and Galloway can rotate more regularly with the forwards on the bench, our starting props should play 25 mins in each half. I think players like BMM and Moors will improve dramatically if they are given genuinely decent mins per game (instead of 10 mins max).

A stronger defensive back 5, with speed out wide and centres in their natural positions.

Benji getting the ball when he wants it at second receiver will help the centres form increase, as they'll be getting more quality ball.

Blair, Tuqiri and Utai to NSW Cup. Utai could almost become a benchie, but his utility value is resticted to wing.

A few things:
1. Don't waste 2 bench spots on cover for injuries, put 1 utility if it is essential and 3 big forwards
2. No more centres at 5/8, we have the best 5/8 in the world at the club who we've shifted out of position and we're going to put centres there. Lawrence and Ayshford should never wear the 6 again
3. Cashmere should be dropped until he develops a football brain

MM certainly agree with having three big men on the bench I couldn't believe the coach persisted with two backs on the bench and later having a utility player with a second hooker? That'd be my biggest gripe against the coach this year I think it cost us games
