We need to be looking for quality players, on and off the field, especially atm. I’d be identifyjng a number of targets and speaking with them. Explain the mission and get the guys who want to lead this club I. The right direction. Maybe Dale Finucane is part of the answer? Maybe not? I’ll trust the club to do the right thing atm. As long as we don’t waste the resources freed up next year. Extra club leadership in driving a new culture. Sims, Hunt and macca seem to be the senior guys not involved in this scandal, they should also be asked for complete buy in to lead a new culture. Any who don’t buy in can be shown the door.

I think it would be great if the Dragons chased Dale Finucane for 2022 and beyond. With a bit of a cleanout being carried out (Norman, Dufty, Pereira, Ellis, and maybe some others), there seems to be enough salary cap to bring him to our club to partner Vaughan in the run-on side. There maybe even some room for another first-grade prop.

With a back row of Sims, Bird, and e Belin, our forward pack would have to a least match that of the top 4 clubs:

This has to be a pack that other clubs will take notice of.
