Should we be looking at....

Obviously we dont have much money, so should we be looking at players that have a lot of talent, but are looking for an opportunity and guidence?

Some that come to mind are:
Joe Williams....super talented. Could be a waste, but could also develope into a $400k a year player.
Brett Seymour...Bit slow, but does show signs of being quite smart.
Daniel Holdswoth...before being dropped he was mentioned as a possible origin 5/8. Has good size too.

And to a lesser extent:
Youngquest, Carmont.

Just on the Luke Lewis rumour, ive never been a fan, always thought he was very overated, but this year he's bulked up and stepped up, so i'd be very happy to have him on board.

I mentioned an incentive based contract for Joe Williams last week and people laughed, maybe not now though.
Williams and Marshall would work for us,Joe has everything Benji doesn't.

Williams is garbage. And another spot player in the defence.
Seymour ahead of Williams all day.
Still the most crucial question of all for SuperCoach and Ronald will be:
`can they cover back row'

He went OK last nite, he'll probably go OK again next week...possibly the week after ....then he'll go missing big time....with us with a coach that dont drop players, and inconsistent half is the last thing we need, even worse than a consistent non-performer.

I cant avoid u anywhere can I Ink?

U could be right about Williams, but u could quite easily be wrong. There's been a million young halfbacks who have been inconsistant the first few years when they come into first grade as it takes a great deal of mental strength to be up every week in such an important position. Many start getting that consistancy at about 23-25. Look at Tim Smith, he's up and down, but because he has talent (like Williams), and he has a coach perservering with him, he'll get the consistancy when he matures. I think Williams "could" do the same.

At the right price, i think he's worth a punt. Got nothing to lose in my opinion, as Marshall is terrible when he has the organising responsibilties on his shoulders.

Marshall shouldn't be organising anyone.
But it has fallen on his shoulders because supercoach and ronald signed that f**king mug from Parramatta who has
a) made a pig's ear of the job
b) been made immune from being dropped by supercoach because
c) supercoach is too pig headed to hold his hand up and admit `i f**ked up' (again)

Joe Williams can`t tackle, but is 1000 times a better attacking player than what Brett Seymour is. Seymour is a solid defender and has a more consistent kicking game then Joe Williams, but if we want someone capable of running the show and constantly having the defence in two minds, then Joe Williams is the man. Seymour`s running game does not worry opposing defences whatsoever, he`s far too slow !!!

Joe Williams is so inconsistent, but if we signed him on an incentive contract I would not complain at all.

His defence is rubbish though - then again, Prince couldn't tackle either.

I wonder if we could get tony pulatua on the cheap a big experianced backrower would be handy

He already made it quite clear that even if Penrith dont want him he doesnt care, he is staying put for the length of his contract even if it means playing in PL
