Wests Tigers coach Tim Sheens has named his team to face the Parramatta Eels this Friday night at the Sydney Football Stadium.

Gareth Ellis will miss the match after picking up a shin injury in the 44-32 loss to the Roosters last Sunday. Mark Flanagan replaces Ellis in the second row while Liam Fulton, Beau Ryan and Bryce Gibbs all return to the side after missing last week's match.

The Wests Tigers side to face Parramatta on Friday night is:

1. Tim Moltzen
2. Lote Tuqiri
3. Blake Ayshford
4. Chris Lawrence
5. Beau Ryan
6. Daniel Fitzhenry
7. Benji Marshall
8. Bryce Gibbs

11. Liam Fulton
12. Mark Flanagan
13. Chris Heighington

14. Jason Cayless
15. Junior Moors
16. Geoff Daniela
17. Mitch Brown

Did you expect anything different?
Well to be honest, I did but then again mastercoach has his master plan.

Wait no, that can't be real. 2 backs on the bench?

Benji or Farah are going to have to pull about 50 points out of their arse if we want any chance here.

Moi Moi and co. will destroy us.

can someone confirm this is the right team?

It's a gee up. There's no official announcement on the Tigers site.

Scary part is I actually believed it for a few seconds. I wouldn't put it past Sheens to spring a side like that this on us

Real team & announcement:

MOLTZEN TO PLAY HALF-BACK AGAINST EELS
Tuesday, 23 March 2010
Wests Tigers Coach Tim Sheens has moved Tim Moltzen to half-back for the round three blockbuster against the Parramatta Eels at the Sydney Football Stadium on Friday night, March 26.
Moltzen will partner Benji Marshall in the halves after Robert Lui was ruled out for between four to six weeks yesterday with an ankle injury.
Former Cronulla utility Mitch Brown will make his club debut for Wests Tigers after being named at full-back. Beau Ryan returns to the wing after missing the round two loss to the Sydney Roosters through suspension.
Bryce Gibbs returns to the front-row after missing the Roosters game with a hamstring injury. Todd Payten will play his first NRL match this season after overcoming a calf injury.
Liam Fulton will not play against Parramatta as he is still feeling the effects of a late hit from the round one win over Manly. Fulton has experienced complications from a popped rib cartilage and spent last night in hospital.
Sheens has named a six man bench for the game.

What did Moors did wrong to be replaced by a guy who didn't even make a proper hit up. Why not just start Fitzy at fullback? Can we try and set a record for the most players used in FG this year?

Good to see Ellis and Gibbs back. I'm also looking forward to seeing more of Flanagan and Fifita. Could do without Daniella, Moors and Fitzy. Would like to see Taumata in Fitzy role.
