It’s an abbreviation for the coach supporters club he’s established - Flano United.Wow, what’s that for? Bit harsh mate?
In 2026 it is likely Kyle will play at 14 so, our chach has a decision to make for the hooker position, Cook or Liddle. I believe the coach will choose Cook and let Liddle walk.
I truly believe LKT is the future. He will be a superstar in the next 12 months. The kid is growing in confidence every game he plays. Leave the kid at 6 and let k Flanno and Atkinson fight it out for the 7 jersey. This 'issue' only exists for '26, after that, it becomes clearer.
Liddle has an MO for '26, to which he or us can activate. The so-called delay is around a longer contract. The point here is we want him to stay.
The issue for '26 is only due to the fact of trying to fit 5 players into 4 positions. 1 of them has to miss out and spend the majority of '26 playing KOE Cup, barring suspensions and injuries.
So, my guess for '26 is as follows:
7 - Atkinson
6 - KFlan
9 - Cook
14 - Liddle
Unfortunately, LKT misses out and most likely play the majority in Ressies, alongside Reed, who should be promoted up next year. I don't see Glover and/or Ilias being around next year.
This now brings us into '27. Cook will retire, which, in itself, creates a mini issue. Liddle is not a starting 9, and his best utilised as a 14 against tired or retreating defense. So, who plays 9?
Imo, we will look to do a Craig Gower or Peter Wallace and convert a half to hooker. Hence KFlan will be the starting 9.
Therefore, '27 would look like this:
7 - Atkinson
6 - LKT
9- KFlan
14 - Liddle
I suspect that Reed will also be challenging for a halves position in 1st grade during '27. There's also speculation that LKT may even transition to a lock forward role, later down the road.
These are just my thoughts on the current situation and moving forward. we do need to buckle down and sign/re-sign some of our up-and-coming stars, as 2 new team will start sniffing around soon enough.
In 2026, Liddle needs to become a starting hooker with less minutes. He needs to go flat out until exhausted, then Cook to come on to replace him. This 'issue' only exists for '26, after that, it becomes clearer.

Perfection mateNo extension news as yet hopefully its a 10 day cooling off period till it is officially announced.
Not only that player shorter minutes can prolong his career somewhat.I’am sure that all Dragon fans are breathing a sigh of relief that he has been extended . Although he has been playing for short periods in the matches he will have undoubtedly picked up a wealth of experience from Cookie that will stand him in good stead for the future .
