Mentally, I very much identify Fittler as a Rooster.Brad Fittler at the Roosters.

I think everyone does but he really should have repaid the club that developed him instead of chasing Uncle Nicks bucks at Easts.Mentally, I very much identify Fittler as a Rooster.

I cannot think of a Penrith fan that likes the bloke.I think everyone does but he really should have repaid the club that developed him instead of chasing Uncle Nicks bucks at Easts.
I can't argue with that....lolYou can't take Penrith out of the boy.

Miller started at West in 1977, he went to Easts in 1978 and ironically played in the first premiership round against Wests, i remember that game clearly as it was the last try Ron Coote scored in his playing career, Bobby Fulton screaming at Kevin Hastings when he attempted a field goal, Fulton was in a better position, Hastings kick hit the cross bar and bounced back, the scores were 14-14 at the time. Kevin Stevens then kicking through a loose ball and it was a race between him and Trevor Scarr for the ball and Stumpy narrowly beat him and scored the match winner. Miller had a shocker and only got a rating of 4 in the Rugby League Week players rating for the game. Really can't remember much about Miller in 78-79 after that game at Easts but he then went to Cronulla before coming back to Easts in 1984 where he spent most of his time in 3rd Grade.Miller played with wests during Tommy era.
Scott gale at canberra
Just wanted to add that I think it's wonderful that our 2 clubs contest The Ron Coote Cup.Yeah, I agree with you Horrie about Coote.
Same with Steve EdgeIts funny i acknowledge Fittler's time at Penrith but only think of him as a Rooster where someone like Ron Coote i consider equally as a Rabbit and a Rooster.
.John Peard even though he played more time at the Roosters and even a stint with St George i consider him an Eel with the time he spent at Parramatta

John Peard played at the Roosters from 1966 to 1971. He as at the Dragons for 1972 and 1973. Came back to the Roosters for 1974 and 1975, and then finished his career at the Eels playing from 1976 to 1979.
He spent more years at the Roosters than the Eels in his playing career. He played in the lower grades for the Roosters and is also a life member of the club. No offence, but how can you consider him an Eel?
I just remember more his exploits in 1976-1977 especially for Parramatta as his deadly bombs kept reaping tries for them. I do acknowledge his run at Easts during the golden 1974-75 season and his first stint at the club and that he is a life member and one of our all time greats, maybe i should have worded it better but from my memory that 1976 - 1977 period of his bombs setting up Parramatta's tries sticks in my mind.
Eric Grothe Jnr at the Roosters
Chris Walker at the Eels
Dylan Brown at the Knights
Arana Taumata Everywhere....
Yeah, he signed with the Sharkies but I'm pretty sure injury stopped him from actually playing any games for them.Pretty sure Eric Grothe Jr had a very brief and insignificant spell at Sharks as well.

Wow! Never knew that Horrie. Macca a Rooster, I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see those shots.
