There's too much dummy half running I reckon. It's very predictable.

Last year, yes late in the year. But this year no, especially early in the season when teams are not as fit. As the season wears on yes reduce them significantly.

What is worse still is the play the ball is so slow that the runner is picked of like a lamb to the slaughter. Even still on the weekend we made 24 runs for 229m. Hit ups were only 45 runs for 322m. Effectively as we have problems getting some of our props to run the ball we have to dummy half run. Which is why I'm not a fan of dropping Dunley at this point. We need the metres he makes even if he conceeds penalties.

I think that give you a fair indication why we have to dummy half run so much. The hit ups are ineffectual and not frequent enough. Every tackle you hope to make 10m, and we just are not doing it with hit ups. Not even close.

I'm still at a loss at what someone like Bryant has to do to make the starting side. He is a good solid prop who would do ok with more time early on.

I only would be furious if I was in the 2nd row and doing all the work... I'd kick some of them in the ass.

fair point.

probably the reason why the better half of the forward pack (bk, beaver, watmo) havent really shown much yet, they are too busy picking up the pieces from king's missed tackles.
