New album came out earlier this week. Sounds pretty good on first few listens, perhaps a bit more subdued than their most recent albums.

Have to listen a few more times to really get a feel for it though.

I'm loving it, listening to it at work with headphones to drown out all the boring chatter.

Really good disc imo.

It took me a few listens before I really started to enjoy it. Mainly because I've spent the past few weeks listening to Takk and Með Suð Í Eyrum Við Spilum Endalaust, which are a lot more upbeat.

Really, really, really like this track. It's the last track, and so suitable :

I was waiting for someone to mention Mogwai - also a very decent band.

Had the pleasure of seeing them in 2009. Very easy to not notice the lack of vocals.

Was this at the Metro? That was one of the loudest gigs I have been to.

I found out about these guys from the Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou soundtrack of all places, and haven't looked back since. Absolutely incredible music.

Even though I'm a fan of a lot of bands there are only a few that give me chills every time, these guys are one of them.

I found him through The Life Aquatic as well. Loved that movie. Anderson is a genius of a director.
