Just doing my part for the Silent Hill promotions department. This looks like it could be one of the few decent video game to movie conversions.

I used the medium trailer to save time, still looked fine.

If it's anything like the games, it should be great.

I also wish they'd make a true-to-the-game version of the original Resident Evil - stuck in the mansion. That game is the best. So much atmosphere. The film could be great.

You mean the Uwe Boll film where they use actual footage from the video game?

Twas easily the worst movie I've ever seen.

Uwe Boll is hilarious. Alone in the Dark was shocking too.

He's also announced movies based on FarCry and Postal, plus has made ones based on Dungeon Siege and BloodRayne. I say 'based' in the loosest sense possible too. I read it's an intentional scam such as in The Producers and there's a petition going around to stop him making movies. I reckon it's bloody funny.

So, anyway, back to Silent Hill (which is not directed by a hack, and has a decent writer to boot) - what did people think of the trailer?
