Thought it was about time we kick this off again

Souths deal with David Fifita all but confirmed, Titans kicking in plenty of money. Souths just need to move Moale to Manly for 2026 rather than 2027 to get it done

Manly and Tigers looking at a player swap between Nathan Brown and Jack Bird

That's interesting; hadn't heard that one..... reckon its a good swap for your boys beav?

I really enjoy watching Brown get stuck in, but I guess with Navale you've got a very good youngster coming through with similar qualities.

Extremely light in the backrow so a bit of depth there is handy with Bird, but a bit of a much of a muchness in terms of ability these days

Brown 'off the back fence at Leichhardt' has a nice ring to it. He's a character and is not something you see in rugby league teams these days.

We've had worse though and we're always complaining about 'lack of size', and we're a team of nice guys, who've won zero premierships.
Well, now he’s been released his contract value isn’t an impediment anymore…

For the right price, I’d take him.

Several places have said we’re a no…. His size would be an asset for sure, his discipline not so much

The crack of the willow is starting to creep back into my veins now. The weather's warming up and the Ashes anticipation will come on real fast.

Reece who?

I’m sure I heard on the radio in the last couple of days the Warriors had shut the door on him
Last I heard it was the contract cost we baulked at, understandable at 850 unless the Storm were covering a big chunk.

But if he’s now been released outright then I presume that means he’s an uncontracted free agent, and could warrant another look.

If Bellamy has spent a couple of years off him and frustrated with his play, that should show all we need to know.

On those factors it is probably a desperate club that might take a punt on him. Shit, Manly fit that bill and love buying players past 30 with their best behind them !

Yeah, that's as red of a flag as you can manage...not being able to get it right under Bellamy at the Storm.

He'll be an R360 guy, I would imagine.

I hope no genuine talent goes to 360 before their time, being a cricket supporter it is beyond frustrating wondering whether your favourite players will play for your team or piss off to inconsequential leagues for Saudi money. Don't need it in another sport I love.
