Looking forward to reading your write-up NT.

I really enjoyed this game so for a bit of fun I might write up something small about how the Burns faction operated throughout the game. There is no doubt that we got lucky at some points, but there was much more to it than that.

Probably about 80 pm's mostly with BDR. We were a bit hog tied as a few of us have restrictions that we cant CC people on messages. Then you have to wait 60 seconds before you send another one.
Yeah BDR was kind of our mediator lol
Wish there was a CC function....one way is to forward the message and you can include multiple people but thats still a bit of a pain

26th - Adamkungl (Otto Mann)
Abilities: Roleblocker (via Drugs)
Killed By: Mafia
Adamkungl was the first player to die, with probable thanks to his success in the NRL game. His character was useful, able to stop a night action.

25th - Bulldog Force (Louie)
Abilities: Mafia Kill
Killed By: Vigilante (Groundskeeper Willie)
Bulldog Force was always going to be an early target, thanks to some unpopularity the Mafia lost one of their members very early in the game.

24th - Didgi (Groundskeeper Willie)
Abilities: Night Kill (all nights)
Killed By: Serial Killer (Sideshow Bob)
Didgi did well to kill the first Mafia member, but the only Springfield member with killing abilities was booted out of the game in the first night, practically just after making a kill. With all of the Springfield enemies going out early, having the vigilante alive could've really turned the game.

23rd - Scott Gourley's Lovechild (Mona Simpson)
Abilities: Able to skip town every second night
Killed By: Automatic Lynch (Lindsay Naegle)
Yes! The mystery is out! It was Bunniesman who avoided a Day 2 lynching that took out one of Springfield's most powerful defensive weapons. With the ability to skip half of the night attacks, again, could have proved very useful for Springfield.

22nd - Misanthrope (Roy Snyder)
Abilties: Can cancel two lynches
Killed By: Mafia
The gamemaster of the NRL Mafia game was lynched early, seen as a threat to the Mafia. Actually was quite sturdy in what he had to say during the game, offering good points. That might have helped his early demise however. Never got to use his ability however.

21st - BunniesMan (Lindsay Naegle)
Abilties: Automatic-lynch (one)
Killed By: Lynch
The most unpopular LeagueUnlimited poster was once deemed Mafia, being the only reason he survived this long. Oh the disappointment. Used the automatic lynch to get rid of a fellow Townie, but was always going to be in the picking line. His major contribution would have to be beginning the suspicion of whall15 (Smithers) which never came to order.

20th - Dogslife (Edna Krabappel)
Abilities: Roleblocker (via seduction)
Killed By: Serial Killer (Sideshow Bob)
Able to assist the single male characters into a night in...inside HER...balloon pouch. Unfortunately didn't help Springfield, another chance to stop enemies. Barely used, but still a good prescence.

19th - Jason Maher (Apu Nahasapeemapetilon)
Abilities: Unable to be Night target, able to seek actions via eavesdrop
Killed By: Lynch
One quote and the suspicion never went. One of Springfield's most powerful defensive weapons, Jason never got the trust of the players back after openly revealing his ability. Avoided night attacks though.

18th - Hallatia (Herschel Krustofsky)
Abilities: Able to fake suicide to take character of unactive player
Killed By: Serial Killer (Butchmcdick)
The kill that changed the game, but more on that later. Hallatia was very active, voicing good opinions. Sadly a bit of a dud character when every player is active, but still stayed alive so Springfield still had numbers.

17th - Monk (Clancy Wiggum)
Abilities: Investigate (one per night)
Killed By: Mafia
The first person to be swayed by Apey to join the Burns brigade, the death confusing many. Investigated Apey, and joined anyway. Used what he had to amazing effect, targetting Apey knowing he could not die at the time. Played well.

16th - Frederick (Abraham Simpson)
Abilties: Roleblocker (via story telling)
Killed By: Mafia
One of the most active roleblockers in the game, always happy to tell a story or dickety-two. Very active in voicing confusion, but was one of the better players.

15th - AlwaysGreen (Legs)
Abilities: Mafia Doctor, Mafia Kill
Killed By: Serial Killer (Cliffhanger)
The breakthrough kill for the game to take down the Mafia. This kill made BDR vulnerable. An unexpected kill, Legs made sure Bart stayed safe during the night. Lasted long, caused little suspicion. Very good kill.

14th - Cliffhanger (Sideshow Bob)
Abilties: Night kill (odd nights), investigated as Springfield member unless Bart was dead
Killed By: Lynch
One of the game's best players, the first person to guess Bart was Mafia from memory. Kill choices were good. The mystery revealed, 9701 bullied a vote change to secure the vote.

13th - Soc123_Au (Bart Simpson)
Abilties: Post rescrition (Bart Simpson quote), investigated as Springfield member, able to swap to Springfield (with Mafia being notified)
Killed By: Serial Killer (Butchmcdick)
Ok, nobody got this perfectly. It's time to reveal. The first murdered in the game...Seymour Skinner. He was under the newspapers. Where was Bart in this episode? That's right! Working for the Mafia! I actually gave out the hint. Ain't I clever? Did very well to not get hit by the post restriction, and did a great job with causing little suspicion. A very good kill.

12th - HowHigh (Tony D'Amico)
Abilities: Night kill, investigated as Springfield member
Killed By: Lynch
Sadly, a post edit ruined what was a near perfect game from HowHigh, who played his role to near perfection. This kill basically ended up taking the game away from the Mafia.

11th - Ozzy (Homer Simpson)
Abilties: 1 in 2 chance of being investigated as enemy, able to spy on killer/victim if Moe is alive
Killed By: Lynch
If Moe was alive, Homer was out drunk, able to investigate. Witnessed Hallatia being murdered and even gave the information before going away. The information didn't help the town, nor did it help him.

10th - Parra (Ned Flanders)
Abilities: Able to talk to Reverand Lovejoy
Killed By: Lynch
One of the two Townies in the Christian group (open to each other), Parra played extremely well throughout the game.

9th - Butchmcdick (Snake Jailbird)
Abilities: Night kill (even nights), 1 in 2 night actions against him fail
Killed By: Lynch
Never was going to survive the game after being outed by Ozzy, but did extremely well in picking targets before that.

8th - 9701 (Nelson Muntz)
Abilities: Able to sway a voter to change mind to secure a lynch on two occasions
Killed By: Lynch
The latecomer ended up being the last murdered. Actually had a chance to be a game winner, but didn't defect to the Burns Empire on the final night (a defection would've sealed it then and there).

7th - BDR (Don Vittorio)
Abilities: Cannot die as long as Legs and Louie are alive
Not Killed
Was always a target, particularly by Hallatia, but still somehow survived the game. The Mafia don was restricted to little action in the game, hence the end of the Night attacks. Still a prominent force.

6th - DB (Timothy Lovejoy)
Abilities: Able to talk to Ned Flanders
Not Killed
One of the two Townies in the Christian group (open to each other), was quiet at times but still survived until the end.

5th - Thorson1987 (Comic Book Guy)
Abilities: Able to find out full details of one character
Not Killed
If I am right, he has now survived both games. Nearly impossible to do. Never used his ability, which would see the full true identity of one other player.

4th - Gas Panic! (Moe Szyslak)
Abilities: 1 in 3 chance to protect any targetted drunk
Winner
Had the automatic ability to protect any character that has a fond weakness to alcohol, though this was never used (majority of characters killed by lynch). Was the last character to swap to Burns, a major game changer.

3rd - Rebel (Lisa Simpson)
Abilities: Able to request census
Winner
In my eyes, used the census a bit too early. But it worked in the end for him, confusing other players. When he joined Burns it made it a game winning decision. Was prominent throughout the thread.

2nd - Whall15 (Waylon Smithers)
Abilities: Can save Burns, can investigate someone who targets Burns
Winner
Burns was never targetted so the ability was never used. Somehow survived the game despite receiving multiple votes on quite a few occasions. How he survived I'll never know. Had Bunniesman been listened to, this game could've been very different.

1st - Apey (Charles Montgomery Burns)
Abilities: Able to recruit followers (odd nights), cannot die if Smithers is alive
Winner - Captain
The ultimate character, often targetted, never seriously. Only two unsuccessful conversions (9701 missed out on being a winner in the Final night, adamkungl died when offered). Leader of the winning team.

Thanks for that NT. You put a lot of effort in and there were some creative roles involved.

I'm writing one up from my perspective as leader of team Burns. It's going to be longer than expected, hopefully it's a good read though.

Well done NT, a great read. Thanks for running a very enjoyable game.

Couldn't really do anything with my role as it was basically automated. It was a shame really, because after playing my first mafia game in the NRL version I was keen to get amongst a more important role. Regardless, tried my best to work out who was against the town whilst not bringing any suspicion upon myself.

The offer to switch sides gave me the option to change it up a bit so I jumped at it.

Well played again Apey!

Well done you conniving bastards. :) Dunno why I didn't suspect a recruiting faction, I've seen it enough times before.

For the record, I had no idea whether anyone ever targetted me, i.e. I was bullshitting. I was hoping I'd taunt the killers into having a go and wasting their kill. Pretty lame strategy it turned out.

I think you can CC, I know that I can even BCC (that could just be a mod thing though), but you can send PMs to multiple users at the same time
Separate multiple user names with ';'

What if someone had rejected Apey's offer?
They obviously weren't allowed to say it in the thread right?

I'm still writing it up.

It's actually quite long, I don't expect many people to read it, but like I said I really enjoyed the game and it's fun going back over it. I'm having fun writing it up regardless :D

Haw haw!

...hey...that hurts.

No wonder nobody came to my birthday party.

The vote-swaying bully has haw'd his last haw, unanymously voted against in today's lynching.

Will the town recover?

9701 IS DEAD
HE WAS NELSON MUNTZ
