Generally yes. Between 75% and 90% of each season these days is crap. But there is the odd good one. It all comes down to plot. Every now and then they right up a good one and it hits the spot. But yes the vast majority are nothing like the old days.

for some reason, I really like that song, your having posted it makes me glad you didn't die during the day phase .

Seasons 1-8 and the movie is about the extent of the real quality Simpsons material. I still love season one, shoddy animation and all. Still makes me laugh out loud.

I did not like the movie. I hate when Homer is a stupid selfish jerk.

Movie was great IMO. They're contracted to do 2 more that they'll do after the show is over.
