I think we need to bring back the Sin Bin as an option for punishing foul play.

Croker coathangered Polglase and gets away with just a penalty, while Jamie Russo ends up in the Sin Bin for 10 minutes for a fairly innocuous hold down.

The penalties just don't fit the crime.

I think all players placed on report should automatically get 5 minutes in the Sin Bin. If there are multiple players placed on report for the one tackle (say for a dangerous throw), the ref picks the player most responsible and that player gets the 5 minutes in the Bin.

And what about player that are put on report for know reason.

Some refs just put players on report as they may not have seen it properly.

What about the player the refs calls out & blame them & put it on report & he got the wrong player. That has happened before.

The sin-binning was a really really bad decision, especially after the Roosters made about a thousand head high tackles. After the sin-binning, the Roosters scored 2 easy tries thus ruining Souths game. Would have been very interesting if Russo wasnt sin-binned.

Anyway, I was happy with the boys performance today. I thought they dug deep, which was lead by the charge of Adam Macdougall.

I don't think all players put on report should go to the bin automatically, just those that are deemed serious enough. Crocker should probably have gone to the bin in tonights match, but it seems the refs aren't instructed use it for foul play anymore.

Blacklock was held back in the last few minutes in the raiders game. 4 mins to go, saints down by 9.
Blacklock passes shifcoske, Clinton grabs at blacklock, and impedes his progress.
Blacklock gets to the ball first after being slowed down, Video Refs Decision, Penalty, No try.

NO SIN BINNING ?? ](*,)
