I have not looked at WORL for a long time, but did tonight and stumbled across the followingconversation. I post it here not to stir up any controversy, but because I thought it was an interesting perspective from outsiders:

It's very active with a good cross section of supporters, but more importantly the management there will answer your questions ASAP and don't seem to discriminate. Unlike this site. and posted a couple of times but I don't think it's that great! There's too many different boards and it's not as active as this one!

They have forums for every club nearly and they have about 5 that are RL forums but are just called different things (why dont they just have one?)

The only plus I can see is that it has a Rugby Union board!

I'll stick to this place I think.

There seems to be more here than anywhere else. I'll still frequent these boards, but at least the management there will discuss problems with you before they take action. That was my understanding of it.

LOL... Oracle / Manof theMatch wasn't around when WORL had a million forums in pre-grandstand days. Most got scrubbed without notice.

But he makes a good point... first to go should those pesky Raiders threads... followed by the Warriors. It'll end up with practically Dragons discussion only... That'll fix up LWOS just dandy.

Working on it being one &amp; the same, I remember a "Cassie" from a few years ago on the Footy Show forums &amp; then asking if the one I saw floating around onthe WORL site was the same. It said it was &amp; having seen the dummy go flying soon there after I figured it was telling the truth.

I remember referring to Cassie as "that cobweb-fannied old hag" in chat a few months back... judging by the most recent posts I've seen from her my opinion hasn't changed.

Cassie was a feisty character, I'll say that for her. Very passionate about the Rabbitohs but spent far too much energy making it her quest to bring down other Rugby League supporters... this was despite many of us supporting Souths' return.

After Souths came back, she was happy for a little while but when the Return to Kogarah campaign was re-ignited, she tried to pour cold water on it all... losing a lot of respect along the way.
