Just before Dugans try with 16 to go he walks up to SJ and looks like he demands the ball.

Boom Dugan try.

7. SJ
6. Flanno
no no no no no don't listen to me.

No, Shaun Johnson is an out and out 5/8th - he WAITS for the opportunities and then strikes...

A good halfback CONTROLS the game and occasionally has moments of brilliance whilst doing that...

Having said that, I would've LOVED to have seen 6. SJ and 7. Flanno Jnr (Chad to Parra or Dogs)... But Flanno Jnr couldn't wait 12-18 months...

johnson should have had three try assists if the old man had passed.

Chad just needs to straighten more, he’s running sideways and jamming the outside players for room.

Well, no, Morris would have had the try assist.

Frenzy.

You charnts are blind.

Chad has “straightened” in about 8/10 tries down the right. That’s exactly why the right side is potent. He doesn’t have to run like a forward. He has to run J lines and engage the defence and get them turning in. He does it to perfection.

If he just ran straight like you parrots say the defence will remain perfectly square all the time and no space will be created

IMO SJ should be master of ceremonies for the backs, and Gal the sh*tkicker of the forwards.
And gimpish backs who do not pass the pill to an unmarked winger, need to be tarred and feathered in the Cronulla Mall.

If lm in the defensive line and chad does that slow horizontal jog laying it off l just set and wait for the runner because he lays it EVERY time.

2 hands on the ball.
Run at the line.
Is he stepping?
Dummying?
Is he passing short to that runner running at my left shoulder?
Is there an inside runner?

All the best halfbacks run at the line.
All of them.

Even Chris anderson knew dis.

Yes when first receiver on a right side shift. No when playing left side
