He may be one of the best players in the comp but deadset this guy is a GRUB. Two elbows to the head of a opponent i wonder if he will be cited by the MRC.

Unlikely....he wasn't even cautioned by the ref's for it.
No chance the MRC will even look at it.

Melbourne received a penalty for it. Rightly so too. How dare anyone have the audacity to put their hands on Slater. Outrageous.

If you wanna go back in time simo....remeber when Skando tackled him at Leichhardt, Slater looked back at Skando then stomped him in the head a couple of times....then ran off like a coward when Skando chased him.

Yeh gutless merkin alright

What about the dog from the dragons who tried to push billy into the signage... completely unnecessary, late and cheap, and he almost went straight into the signage. They can do some real damage on those things... They need not to have those metal signage things that close to the field, too dangerous.

Remember Marcus Bai cut arm from one of those old signs at olympic park

Yea, was watching with my cousin day and he reminded me of that, he missed like 16 weeks or something due to that... that close to the field it should be the foam one's only

Slater is allowed to make remarks about people's mental conditions and get away with it.

Imagine if that was Paul Gallen who did that....he got in so much trouble last year for apparently saying something to Mickey Paea about his race.

I fail to see where there is a difference in what both players did....one got smashed for it, the other got away with it.

Slater can play the game, he has no need to be a dirty little grub, but he is up there with the worst in the comp.

I think the Grub were the Dragons out there today. The thought the storm player head were the ball.

No you're right....as Bennett pointed out during the press conference, we've been so dirty all year, conceding 1 penalty in 3 matches for high tackles.
Yet today, we just wanted to take your heads off for some reason.
Those penalties were bordering on ridiculous, we may as well be playing touch footy.
Strangely though, Melbourne didn't get penalised for this type of action.

boo f**king hoo, dragons tackled high, suck it up. 17-4 princess

Do you kiss your Cousin with that mouth?

Run along, Sunshine. The adults are talking. If you sit in the corner and be quiet, i'll buy you a nice whistle to play with.

Hornby deserved an elbow for his grappling/wrestling type move where he got Billy around the neck and wrenched him backwards. When are players going to cut this sh*t out?

26 is obviously your IQ

no one said that Melbourne did not play the better game today what was commented on is the fact that slater choose to lie on top of a player and then elbow him deliberately in the head twice.

I missed the elbow...but you need to do something in the tackles with him as he almost always gets into a position with his strength to get a quick PTB...you gotta slow him down
