Slater v Seage

Slater can make any fullback look bad if it comes down to one on one - but funnily enough, Seage has probably seen more of him in the Qld cup than just about anyone in the NRL has - so he might just be the boy to round him up if slater makes a break.

Slater hardly played any QLD cup at all. I've seen/read about a few of his QLD cup performance and they were very poor.

The only reason he got into firstgrade was becaus eof an injury to Ross and a very good off-season in 2003.

Has the Storm team been annonced? I'm sure Turner would be named fullback with Slater in the centres.

Yeah its been named. There is a thread about that too.

Slater has been named fullback, much to my dissapointment.

I'll leave all the slapping for the Knights to do to the Storm this weekend. :p

As good a player as Slater is, I don't like him at fullback, his defense is a little suspect, and he was a bit dodgy under some kicks last season. he's much better in the centres IMO. As the attacking fullback no doubt he's a handfull, but it's negated by his poor one on one defense, I wouldn't want to be relying on him as my last line.
